Buy Now: Super Soaker CPS 2700

Description: The CPS2700 is a large and potent water blaster. Its capabilities as well as its size lie between the CPS1500/1700 and the CPS2500. Stylized plastic gives its shape a good strength and feel though its colour leaves one wondering, "Why?". Thankfully, a new colour scheme was released for the 2001 Soaker Season. The added shoulder strap allows one to easily carry it. A built-in handle makes it easy to hold while refilling. It has three nozzle settings: 2x, 5x and 10x. However, the nozzles are encased by a plastic shielding which adds to the weapon's looks but makes changing nozzle settings more difficult. The nozzles must be rotated by holding onto the short pieces of plastic that extend from the front of the blaster and turning. Powerwise, the CPS2700 performs beautifully. The 10x setting allows one to do some serious soaking while the 2x setting lets one conserve water. The main drawback to this weapon is simply its sheer weight when it is full.
The CPS2700 makes a great medium cannon with enough water to last a good time away from a water source. (This is the only single piece CPS-class weapon able to fill its firing chamber 5x completely before needing to refill.)

Pros: Big, powerful, and fairly intimidating. With three nozzle settings to choose from, one can soak brutally or conserve if water is running low. The shoulder strap makes carrying it relatively easy.

Cons: Really heavy when fully loaded! Using the fill-pump-fill method, one will be adding nearly 5kg onto the blaster's weight. The nozzles are a bit tricky to change since one needs to reach inside the front plastic area (somewhat tempting to remove the ornamental front piece covering the nozzles) The final potential problem is the positioning of the pump handle. Being at the bottom/front area, care should be taken when putting the CPS2700 down. Definitely do not drop a fully loaded CPS2700!
