Making a few updates. Changing price listings on guns to state if the gun is Discontinued, and tinkering with the frameset to allow more room for 640x480 Viewers. Also, the Size of the SS Review menu has been increased to allow for Future Blasters to be added.

Added a softer sounding menu click sound after a discussion on the Aquatica Yahoo Club. I think it sounds better.

Also updated, a new site has been added into the Links section called Drenched Wench. An Adult oriented Blaster Site. (And No, No Dirty stuff like the name sounds like...) Some interesting Ideas.

I hope all of those who were complaining about the Flash Animations and Sounds irritating their systems are happy now, The Nexus (Under)Development project has been posted.

Also new, 3 New Photos, Official Aqua-Nexus Pictures for the XP65, XP 220, and the MonsterXL.

Just making a few updates. Added a new Photo to the Gallery, This one I took, and comes complete with a sound clip of the event. Also new is a Menu-Description page like the Interactive section has for a start page has been added to the Information Station.

Also, under development behind the scenes, a project to reduce the system load the Nexus' Flash animations have on Slower Computers. The Addition of "Toy" animations in the background of the files Limit access to web browsers on Older Computers and sometimes lock or crash the browser. (It even caused my Pentium 133 to lock up.) This has come to my Attention after some recent complaints. Development on reducing "Toy" Animations while keeping the Nexus Feel has begun. (Perhaps I should say "Improving the Nexus Feel") Some parts have been posted.

On Saturday, the Nexus celebrated the Anniversary of the Great Fall Update of 1999 on 11/11/1999, when the Macromedia Flash revolution first touched down on the Aqua-Nexus. It was also Rememberance/Armistice/Veterans Day... Lest we Forget.

Also, The Nexus has been considering changing the Site Slogan for the 2001 season. This comes to my Attention because the "Take No Prisoners!!" slogan has little reference to Water Warfare. I does, however, still serve as a Great Slogan I think anyway.
CONTACT ME if you have any ideas for a new Slogan, or if I should Keep the old one.

Just doing a few touch-ups. If you haven't guessed, I changed around the intro logo. Added a Flash v4.0 Detector as well, thought that iSoaker.com had a good idea with theirs.
Speaking of which, iSoaker.com has just released a New Site update. Looks nice, keeping the always good looks of the site fresh.

In response to a recent discussion on the Aquatica Yahoo Club, an New Club has been formed for handling Questions, Comments Suggestions and Corrections for the Aqua-Nexus Called "AquaNexus Soaker Link". Join Today.

iSoaker.com has also opened "iSoaker Forum" another Yahoo club for Site Questions, etc.

PLEASE NOTE: Aquatica Yahoo Club remains the Main Club for General Disscussions.

Just adding a submitted review. A fan has entered a few words on the CPS 1700. If you haven't noticed, the Aqua-Nexus is now officially on Winter Hibernation. Little work or Newswire Posts will be done on the site until Christmas/New Years when the 2001 guns come out. However, I will still be posting Reviews, War Stories, Match-Maker Ads, so keep them coming..

Well, September is here, thus bringing the close of the season. It is still kind of warm outside as our planet nears the Autumn Equinox, but for the most part, with everyone headed back to school and so on, the 2000 Soaker Season is over. Here's to a better one next year!

As a result of the coming cold darkness, Aqua-Nexus, for the most part, will be going into hibernation. To awaken next year as, hopefully, a brand new site. Aqua-Nexus will keep the Newswire, and reviews sections open, as will the War Stories and Match-Maker parts, however, updates will be few and far between. Soakers will never Die.

Until then, "May the water be warm for you, should you get hit".
