Some page errors on IE v4.0 have been addressed. The Tripod Banner loads in it's own window for each HTML Document loaded in this Browser. (That means 4 for the Main Frameset, and 1 for each other page, 2 for the Newswire, 3 for the Information Station and Super Soaker Reviews, 1 for class changes on the SS Review menu, etc etc etc.. As you can see it adds up and can be quite annoying.)
Solution: Use Netscape Navigator/Communicator 4.x (Newest Version is v4.7), or for loyal IE Users (if any) Upgrade to IE v5.0.

Also, today Super Soaker Warrior(That would be me) announces two New Upcoming Webpage Projects... (Do not worry about me leaving this site behind, I've invested too much work into this page to do so.)

The First one, Is to be Called (But this is not Final) "The MaXStaR WebCenter". A Personal Page done about my interests and personal life, but More Importantly, a Linking Center for each of my Other Webpage Projects.

The Second one is another Super Soaker Related page. This Second page is for keeping track of a Club that Me (SSW) and TKD-Warrior of the C-WSL plan to get Started at the Local College I am attending, New Brunswick Community College - Saint John Campus. The Club will be Called " The NBCC-SJ Super Soaker FIGHT Club"

I will have more on this later when I have more to show...

As for the Super Soaker Webring and Aquatica Webring, From the Creator of the Popular Page "Super Soaker ELITE" Comes the New Site "Super Soaker Alliance" Which has recently been Approved for Submission to the Aquatica Webring.

And that's the News..
Boy,  late November sure is quiet, eh?

11/23/1999
Work proceeds along on the Aquatechnology Update for 1/1/2000... No Information yet however..

Some updates (if you haven't noticed) have been made to the Nexus.. Redone Flash menus..

Other than this, Things are quiet on the Super Soaker frontline.

11/17/1999
Super Soaker Warrior here, bringing you better ways of viewing the Nexus...  If those of you with Telephone based Internet connections haven't noticed, I have reduced the size of the Nexus Logo animation graphic. The Former graphic weighed in at about 108kb, while the new one is 85kb, 23kb smaller.

In other news, Mikah's Super Soaker page has added (I really should say "revised") a few Gun reviews to the page, Including a rather Sadistic but deserving review of the XP90, and a well done review of the CPS 1000.

11/16/1999
Well, it's mid November and still no new updates on the SS.Com Reservoir. Perhaps the time has come that SuperSoaker.com is closing down for the winter... or gearing up for the Big Christmas Showroom release of the new Models. As it is, I doubt that there will be a new Reservoir for November.

In other news, Aquatechnology Announced 9 days ago (During the Aqua-Nexus Shutdown period) that a new Major site update is planed for January 1st, 2000. (Lets hope that our Computers are working for this event, heheh.)

The MiB Site has been officially been taken down, as the old website is Vacant. I'm just a little bit curious why the old site wasn't just left there, but still...

Also, many speculations float around the new Super Soakers as the entire SS Community basks in the wonderment of what is next to come... True we will be leaving our old Faithful model guns behind, but we can hope that the new CPSs will be Even better... However considering the latest New Super Soakers (XP90, Super Chargers), I'm not holding my Breath as much as anyone else is...

And that's the News.

- One Word "FASTER" The Various Pages on the Nexus, With Fewer images and More Flash Menus, the Nexus is more Optimized for Download speed. With Fewer things to load in each section and on each page, you can get on with your Super Soaker Experience with no more long waiting.

Flash CPS Picts, The C-WSL Water Cup trophy, and Hundreds of other things, so remember, Aqua-Nexus is The Super Soaker Connection, It's YOUR Connection to Super Soakers...

In other news, today is Remembrance Day, and Our guns are silent. So take a minute of time out your day and put it into honourary silence and pay tribute to those who died, so we could have things like what we have today....

NEW SITE OPENS
--==November 11th, 1999==--

11/04/99
There is only one week left until the Major Site update of the AquaNexus. As a result, this will be the last post until the update is in place. The scale of the new Nexus update is to be considered very major. No stone has been left unturned in the project. The Site will be moving away from Geocities..  I cannot abide by this stupid popup window... Tripod is the Future home... A redirect link will be placed here on Geocities.
Harrassed by irritating midis and multiple windows? Theres help on the way.. What do I mean by this? You'll just have to wait for next Thursday. MUAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA!!!!

Don't Forget the Nexus' Simple URL:

Also in the news, MiB has Announced plans for a January 2000 release date for the new MiB site.  Also, the MiB main site at www.red-wolf.net has been updated as well to accomidate links to more than just the MiB page. Go there for more...

10/27/99
The AquaNexus would like to extend a hand of congratulations to Aquatechnology, for winning an award to be listed on the Netscape Netcenter What's Cool page for Both October 26th and 27th, 1999.
10/19/99
As you might have guessed by looking at the opening graphic, the Tentative Site Launch Date of the New AquaNexus design is November 11th, 1999.
The New Site, AquaNexus: The Super Soaker Connection, will be launched on Remembrance/Armistice Day, and will have ALOT to do with Macromedia's Shockwave Flash...  So far, all tests show that it will function with Flash 3.0, but looks a little on the unprofessional side, and the sound doesn't appear to work. In other words, you have a while yet to install flash on your system :) .

And I can tell you one thing, though the demand for online Super Soaker Information hasn't diminished, It scares me how much there is left...
As I did research for today's report, I noticed a high number of Major SS websites that haven't been updated since July or June, even February... The AquaNexus and it's Aquatica Partners Aquatechnology and Mikah's SS Page, as well as MiB and Water War, appear to be alone...
If anyone out there with a Major/Minor Super Soaker Page is reading this, and is not listed in the sentence above, Please give us a sign that you're still alive... (ie: sign the message board, send me an email, apply to join the Aquatica Webring...)
We'd like to know...

And that's all the news for today...

10/17/99
Hello again.
Displaying this here may be shattering its spam-free stretch, but for a while now, the AquaNexus Message board has been reopened on a conditional basis... However, the moment ONE drop of spam hits the board it will become moderated again... For now chat as much as you want, just remember, Super Soaker Warrior is Watching.

Also in the news, over a week ago, Aquatechnology added the XXP 275 review to its Armory Section.

With the Temperatures growing colder day by day, the depression of this SuperSoakerless "Peace Time" is setting in...  However, at least one day this month we can have a little fun with our number one guns...
Two Words...
Halloween Pranks.
I'm sure you can come up with some nasty tricks...

Also, a new Reservior Report has come about over at SuperSoaker.Com. This Months issue is a review of the bold XP 110. There is some conflicting data as well... First of all, the Pressure tank holds much more than is shown and fires for a lot longer, and the XP150 charges faster than the XP110 instead of vice versa, so don't believe what they say there. Most of the Online SS World has stopped listening to the Reservior a while ago, because it appears that Ian Helfrich hasn't been in a real waterfight for a while now, judging by how accurate his findings are and by how often he updates his page, the Super Soaker Arsenal...
You be the Judge.

Also lately I have been pondering on how much more work is needed to make the Nexus more Beautiful than it already is.
First of all, I am planning to move away from Geocities. This new YahooGeocities DHTML pop up window on the mainframe is an eyesore!
Second, a Redirect URL has been set up for the Nexus...  No matter where on the net the Nexus is, you can always find it by going here: http://www.aquanexus.cjb.net
And Third, as usual, All suggestions are more than welcome.

A release date for the New Nexus is in the Works, but hasn't been decided upon as of yet.
I will keep you posted ON:
THE NEXUS NEWSWIRE!

10/05/99
More updates going on around Aquatechnology and Mikah's Super Soaker Page, as well as the AquaticaWebring and Yahoo Club. It's good to see that the SS-World is in good hands.

However tonight I would like to let you know just what is going on here at the Nexus.
As it grows colder here in the Canadian North, daytime high temperatures are slipping below room temperature, too cold to fight. And as even my mind turns to things somewhat more important things like College, expect to see less of me in the next few months. But DO NOT worry, I haven't forgotten you. While I am away, every day the work speeds along on the new Nexus site look, and most of the work is done, and I will still stop in every once in a while to see what's new and report it here, on the Nexus Newswire.

And as for the Message Board, I realize that many of you are upset with its moderated state. I am sorry, the fact is the moderation is necessary to shake off the plaguing Spammers. I will let you know on the newswire when the Message board Re-opens. In the Meantime, the Aquatica Message Board will open for business very soon, Go there for your posting needs.

10/01/99
Like we've all been waiting for, Aquatechnology has posted it's new site look. It is something to see, well done. However if you don't have Macromedia Shockwave Flash 4 installed, I suggest you download that first. You can tell if you have it installed or not if the AquaNexus logo loads properly with seamless animation and sound. Flash 4 is also included in the Netscape Communicator 4.7 Installation Program.
(Please note that the AquaNexus will also be going Flash in the big update coming later this year.)
9/29/99
Some new Photos have been posted on the AquaNexus, including the long awaited photo of the XP 95.
Also added are the XP 150 and the SC 400.
Enjoy.
9/24/99
In the news today is the announcement that indeed, the AquaNexus has been collaborating in the creation of one of the biggest things to happen to the Super Soaker Community since the original Super Soaker webring...
...It is called...
Recently, the Super Soaker Webring has been running a little slack. Though the ring still is a good way to find Super Soaker Sites, It's management has been so absent that it has Super Soaker sites still in its Submission Queue that have been up for so long that they've been taken down.
In Response, a Concept has popped up to run a Webring managed not only by 2 People, but the webmasters of 2 of the most popular and by far most frequently updated Super Soaker sites on the net today. With this team of management, Service and Updates are not only Guaranteed, but Frequent.

So far, a Webring and Yahoo Club has been formed.
The Aquatica homepage can be found at http://members.tripod.com/winkyweirdow/. From there you can find your way to the Webring and the Yahoo Club..
You can also get to the Yahoo Club by Going Here. Sign Up Today!

9/19/99
A Detailed Benchmark of the XXP175 has been posted, you can See it on the XXP175 review page or by going here.

Also in the news it what we've all been dying to hear...
Paul Quinnell of the MiB Alliance Page has emailed Supersoaker.Com, and has come back with the answer to the Question of the CPS line's history. Here's what they said:

"No No No, The CPS line is alive and kicking for next year in a big way. I can't tell you much more than ITS AWESOME!!!!!!!! The 2000 release will be a Supersoaker.com exclusive. We will be releasing the first public info of the new line on either Christmas Eve, or Jan 1st, 2000."

So this is Very Good news. The Best guns ever made by Super Soaker will still be around next year. The NewsWire here at the AquaNexus Will be keeping track of the proceedings this winter, so don't worry about being left out.

And thats the news!

9/18/99
A Detailed Benchmark of an XP 110 has been posted, enjoy!
9/15/99
As you can tell by the new Shockwave Flash opening graphic, the new Site Layout is soon to come. There isn't a projective date set yet, but I expect to have it done by December, and as early as Mid-October...
As you can see, the new site will have a bit more to do with Macromedia's Shockwave Flash, so if you can't see the opening Graphic, go to the Macromedia site and get it today.

Also in the news, Aquatechnology has Projected a Tentative launch date for it's own new site layout. And to an interesting suprise, it isn't too far away... Go to Aquatechnolgy for more details.

And if the current URL for the AquaNexus is too Long for you, Thanks to something new at Yahoo Geocities, this site can also be found at...
http://www.geocities.com/supersoakerwarrior/

Thanks for reading!

Just when you least expected it, SuperSoaker.Com is still going. Ian Helfrich has written yet another installment on the Reservior. This months topic is a General Overview of the Great CPS line...  Maybe this is a good sign that the CPSs will be around for at least another year. Now only if Helfrich would update his own page, the Super Soaker Arsenal. The review goes into detail about the "Squirtage" and "Soakage" (here known as "Maximum Water Deliverance" and "Total Shot Time") of the CPS Line, and all I can say is the numbers seem a a bit off... Go see for yourself.
9/10/99
Well, season's over. At least in New Brunswick it is.
Nothing much to report in the SS world. Aquatechnology has updated, and has announced that work is proceeding on its new layout. As of September 1st, The MiB Alliance page has officially shut down. All that remains is an explanation of what's going on, an updated links list (which now includes the AquaNexus), and a note saying the Site update should arrive in March 1999. For the record, that should say March 2000 instead. The site will also be moving to a brand new URL. All I can list now is it's location will have its own domain name, www.red-wolf.net.
Also work on the new Nexus layout is coming along quite nicely, no release date is set, but I can offer some small information tidbits. There will be a complete graphical overhaul, and the first Shockwave Flash animation was completed successfully early yesterday morning.

And that's the news.
