Also, today Super Soaker Warrior(That would be me) announces two New Upcoming Webpage Projects... (Do not worry about me leaving this site behind, I've invested too much work into this page to do so.)
The First one, Is to be Called (But this is not Final) "The MaXStaR WebCenter". A Personal Page done about my interests and personal life, but More Importantly, a Linking Center for each of my Other Webpage Projects.
The Second one is another Super Soaker Related page. This Second page is for keeping track of a Club that Me (SSW) and TKD-Warrior of the C-WSL plan to get Started at the Local College I am attending, New Brunswick Community College - Saint John Campus. The Club will be Called " The NBCC-SJ Super Soaker FIGHT Club"
I will have more on this later when I have more to show...
As for the Super Soaker Webring and Aquatica Webring, From the Creator of the Popular Page "Super Soaker ELITE" Comes the New Site "Super Soaker Alliance" Which has recently been Approved for Submission to the Aquatica Webring.
And that's the News..
Boy, late November sure is quiet, eh?
Some updates (if you haven't noticed) have been made to the Nexus.. Redone Flash menus..
Other than this, Things are quiet on the Super Soaker frontline.
In other news, Mikah's Super Soaker page has added (I really should say "revised") a few Gun reviews to the page, Including a rather Sadistic but deserving review of the XP90, and a well done review of the CPS 1000.
In other news, Aquatechnology Announced 9 days ago (During the Aqua-Nexus Shutdown period) that a new Major site update is planed for January 1st, 2000. (Lets hope that our Computers are working for this event, heheh.)
The MiB Site has been officially been taken down, as the old website is Vacant. I'm just a little bit curious why the old site wasn't just left there, but still...
Also, many speculations float around the new Super Soakers as the entire SS Community basks in the wonderment of what is next to come... True we will be leaving our old Faithful model guns behind, but we can hope that the new CPSs will be Even better... However considering the latest New Super Soakers (XP90, Super Chargers), I'm not holding my Breath as much as anyone else is...
And that's the News.
THE NEXUS NEWSWIRE.........
So, what else is new here at the Nexus anyway?
I know you've been wondering, so I'll tell..
Several things have Changed... For example the Nexus File base has been cleaned up. The Old Nexus weighed in at 3.65mb with 291 files. The New Nexus you see before you has been striped down to 3.17mb with 240 files (264k of which is the Flash v4.0 plugin made available for direct download underneath the site counter), while increasing the Amount of Super Soaker Information. What does all this mean? With the Files to Information Ratio down, there are less files to download to read each page on the Nexus, Therefore Browsing around the AquaNexus is Faster and Easier than EVER before..
Other Major Changes are as follows...
| - Newly Fashioned Frames Set | An easier to Access and more Legible Menu bar and a Larger Main window are just one of the new features of the Nexus. |
| - The New Tips & Tactics Section | A place to find some interesting idea's for your water warfare. (The Contained Information is Rough at the moment, but will be built upon for the coming 2000 season.) |
| - Scrolling Marquee Information Bar | To keep you posted on the latest breaking news stories throughout the Super Soaker World... The Latest Headline will appear and tell you whats going on and where to find out more... |
| - Super Soaker Information Overhaul | The Super Soaker S+B Section (Previously called SS Reviews) now features completely new information, cleaned up from it's previous Incoherent Garbage information state. |
| - A Complete Flash Main Menu System Overhaul | The Main Menu and the Menus in the Information station, Super Soaker Stats and the Twilight Zone have been "Flashed" |
| - Flash Site Map and Section Logos | The Helpful Site map is more helpful than ever, where you can quickly surf the map just like you were surfing the site. Also, Check out the new Flash Site Logos In the SS S+B and The Information Station. |
| - A Complete Graphics Overhaul | All Nexus Graphics have been Redone, all in it's Dashing new look design. |
| - The Picture Directory Links Page | All Text links have been replaced with Logo pictures of the Individual Sites. |
| - New Message Board | The Cluttered up spammed message board has been replaced with a Clean Slate. |
| - One Window - One Nexus | It's what some of you have been waiting for... The Elimination of the
Nexus's Multiple windows for the Information Station and the Reviews...
With Just one window, Surfing the Nexus is Easier and Faster than ever before... |
| - No Midi Music | Removed By Popular request... |
| - One Word "FASTER" | The Various Pages on the Nexus, With Fewer images and More Flash Menus, the Nexus is more Optimized for Download speed. With Fewer things to load in each section and on each page, you can get on with your Super Soaker Experience with no more long waiting. |
In other news, today is Remembrance Day, and Our guns are silent. So
take a minute of time out your day and put it into honourary silence and
pay tribute to those who died, so we could have things like what we have
today....
Like Super Soakers...
Just remember that...
Thank you for reading...
The Super Soaker Warrior.
Don't Forget the Nexus' Simple URL:
Also in the news, MiB has Announced plans for a January 2000 release date for the new MiB site. Also, the MiB main site at www.red-wolf.net has been updated as well to accomidate links to more than just the MiB page. Go there for more...
And I can tell you one thing, though the demand for online Super Soaker
Information hasn't diminished, It scares me how much there is left...
As I did research for today's report, I noticed a high number of Major
SS websites that haven't been updated since July or June, even February...
The AquaNexus and it's Aquatica
Partners Aquatechnology
and Mikah's
SS Page, as well as MiB
and Water War, appear to
be alone...
If anyone out there with a Major/Minor Super Soaker Page is reading
this, and is not listed in the sentence above, Please give us a sign that
you're still alive... (ie: sign the message board, send me an email, apply
to join the Aquatica Webring...)
We'd like to know...
And that's all the news for today...
Also in the news, over a week ago, Aquatechnology added the XXP 275 review to its Armory Section.
With the Temperatures growing colder day by day, the depression of this
SuperSoakerless "Peace Time" is setting in... However, at least one
day this month we can have a little fun with our number one guns...
Two Words...
Halloween Pranks.
I'm sure you can come up with some nasty tricks...
Also, a new Reservior Report has come about over at SuperSoaker.Com.
This Months issue is a review of the bold XP
110. There is some conflicting data as well... First of all, the Pressure
tank holds much more than is shown and fires for a lot longer, and the
XP150 charges faster than the XP110 instead of vice versa, so don't believe
what they say there. Most of the Online SS World has stopped listening
to the Reservior a while ago, because it appears that Ian Helfrich hasn't
been in a real waterfight for a while now, judging by how accurate his
findings are and by how often he updates his page, the Super
Soaker Arsenal...
You be the Judge.
Also lately I have been pondering on how much more work is needed to
make the Nexus more Beautiful than it already is.
First of all, I am planning to move away from Geocities. This new YahooGeocities
DHTML pop up window on the mainframe is an eyesore!
Second, a Redirect URL has been set up for the Nexus... No matter
where on the net the Nexus is, you can always find it by going here: http://www.aquanexus.cjb.net
And Third, as usual, All suggestions are more than welcome.
A release date for the New Nexus is in the Works, but hasn't been decided
upon as of yet.
I will keep you posted ON:
THE NEXUS NEWSWIRE!
However tonight I would like to let you know just what is going on here
at the Nexus.
As it grows colder here in the Canadian North, daytime high temperatures
are slipping below room temperature, too cold to fight. And as even my
mind turns to things somewhat more important things like College, expect
to see less of me in the next few months. But DO NOT worry, I haven't forgotten
you. While I am away, every day the work speeds along on the new Nexus
site look, and most of the work is done, and I will still stop in every
once in a while to see what's new and report it here, on the Nexus Newswire.
And as for the Message Board, I realize that many of you are upset with its moderated state. I am sorry, the fact is the moderation is necessary to shake off the plaguing Spammers. I will let you know on the newswire when the Message board Re-opens. In the Meantime, the Aquatica Message Board will open for business very soon, Go there for your posting needs.

So far, a Webring and Yahoo Club has been formed.
The Aquatica homepage can be found at http://members.tripod.com/winkyweirdow/.
From there you can find your way to the Webring and the Yahoo Club..
You can also get to the Yahoo Club
by Going Here. Sign Up Today!
Also in the news it what we've all been dying to hear...
Paul Quinnell of the MiB Alliance
Page has emailed Supersoaker.Com,
and has come back with the answer to the Question of the CPS line's history.
Here's what they said:
"No No No, The CPS line is alive and kicking for next year in a big way. I can't tell you much more than ITS AWESOME!!!!!!!! The 2000 release will be a Supersoaker.com exclusive. We will be releasing the first public info of the new line on either Christmas Eve, or Jan 1st, 2000."
So this is Very Good news. The Best guns ever made by Super Soaker will still be around next year. The NewsWire here at the AquaNexus Will be keeping track of the proceedings this winter, so don't worry about being left out.
And thats the news!
Also in the news, Aquatechnology has Projected a Tentative launch date for it's own new site layout. And to an interesting suprise, it isn't too far away... Go to Aquatechnolgy for more details.
And if the current URL for the AquaNexus is too Long for you, Thanks
to something new at Yahoo Geocities, this site can also be found at...
http://www.geocities.com/supersoakerwarrior/
Thanks for reading!
And that's the news.
