Guess I'm a small fry here compared to most...

SS 100
SS 300

CPS 3000

MD-3000 (2)
M.I. Overload (2)
M.I. Flash Flood
M.I. Arctic Blast
M.I. HydroBlitz

Just went with the old stuff, never needed more, but got intrigued with some of the Max Infusions since they take water packs. I'm a junkie for backpack systems, like the 300 and 3000. 8)

Hello everyone!I'm just getting back into the world of water warfare, and I have a few questions.I assume Sports Authority is a good place to get Water Blasters and/or pistols? My current armory is tiny, two Splash pistols,(dualable)which have an average range of about 15-20 feet.I know it is the worst armory ever, but I'm trying to get more and more people around my general area(Tampa,Florida) to battle and I really need help.

Welcome to the iSoaker Forums! Enjoy your stay.

Don't worry, even those with large and/or powerful arsenals started out with nothing. Heck, I started out with a no-brand SS 50-sized pistol thingy, wouldn't be caught dead with something like that now. Sports Authority stock changes based on location, but there is an excellent opportunity to find older guns there. In fact, the only things I look for there are re-issues and backstocks from previous years. Target or KBtoys tend to carry the whole Water Warriors line, while TRU tends to carry the entire Super Soaker line, again depending on location. I've never been to Tampa, so I wouldn't know what's out there.

Hm.I have access to all of those locations you mentioned, and more.I have to travel to Lakeland to get to TRU,Target, and KB Toys, but its only like 10 minutes. What would be a good alternative to a Shield Blaster?I used to have one,but I eventually lost it.I used to beat everyone in our small-scale single weapon water battles with it.The good ol' days...I know lots of range and power mods, from various sites(mainly Wikipedia) so I can modify them to fit my needs. What would the most balanced blaster as far as mobility, power, range, accuracy, and capacity?I can buy up to $50 dollar blasters,as my parents don't pay me for doing all that I do.I also have access to eBay if there are any good blasters on there.I also have about 80 water balloons.

Go for ebay if you want something decent. Even if it means saving, the new guns really aren't worth buying unless you already have an effective collection. In my (humble) opinion, an effective war cannot be waged without older (cps) blasters being the staple of your armory. Flash Floods are great, but everyone has them. If you have $50 to spend, i'd wait on ebay and look for a 1200/1500 to buy, or possibly a 2700. All can be bought for that price, although the 2700 might go a little over, simply due to the high(er) cost of shipping. 1200s are all over the place and can easily be acquired for well under 50. 1500/1700s are harder but can be definitely found, and depending on the quality range from around 25-40, at least as i've seen. This is just me, but if you're starting to bulk up, i'd definitely go for ebay as opposed to stores.

Every gun whose their name begins with CPS is good to get(exept maybe the CPS 1-3-5).

This [url=http://cgi.ebay.ca/Super-Soaker-CPS-1000-Water-Gun-Larami-1990s-Retired_W0QQitemZ270137149192QQihZ017QQcatego

ryZ11745QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem]CPS 1000[/url] is ending in a few hours and it seems it will go for cheap, it may finish under 50$ including shipping. The CPS 1000 is a highly recommended gun for its power/size ratio, although I never tried one myself. :bm1000:

First of all, bidding during the off-season is usually best (though with due exception, including the 1000 mentioned above), also, I've found it effective to get lots. I got a 1000, 1200, and MD5k for $36 one time (plus $16 or so shipping), while my 2700 was $1. (but with a long story of shipping getting messed around, we ended up paying $20 for that)

The market is rather flat right now. It may be the beginning of Summer, yet it is a good time to buy!

I'm probably going to get either a 2100 or a 4100 in the off-season. If I'm lucky, a 2500. If I'm really lucky, a 2000.

LOL!

Definitely a good gun.
Though the person I bought mine from off ebay "forgot" to mention that the trigger was broken, the reservoir leaked and the pump seal was going bad. So I had to do several internal repairs before it was fully operational.

I made sure to give them a bad reivew .
The Maple-Mountain-Marines.

Terrifying, but oddly refreshing.
