Now Hasbro has me confused. What the hell is this gun? I have figured out that it isn't a new release, but I'm still interested for God knows what reason.

If memory serves me correctly (I'll give this one only 50% accuracy :goofy: ), that soaker is the predacessor to the Super Soaker Splashfire. I know I've seen it before, but never managed to get my hands on one and don't know when it was first released. It is pump action and slightly larger/longer than the SS Splashfire, but not by much. As I've never used it, not sure about its feel or performance, but figure it behaves similar to other same-sized Power Soakers.

I know it might hurt to say it, but it's the collector in you that's fostering the interest, Duxburian.

The tank on this gun is smaller than the splashfire, but otherwise the mechanisms and design are pretty much the same. I have one, but it is not fully functional. It will be given to the iSoaker collection as soon as I get to the post office. The fact that I haven't already is pretty shameful, really, but I digress.

I'm kind of tempted to acquire this one that's NIB/NIP just because I don't think I'd be able to get it elsewhere.

I won both this and the Raven for 99 cents. @iSoaker, if the BBB turns out to be unmoddable, I will gladly trade it. :)

I'm not a true collector yet...despite these novelties. I still go for quality and power, as can be seen with the 5x 1500s, 3x 3000s, 2x 12Ks, etc.

I remember seeing this years ago, back around when the CPS 1200 and other guns of that line were out. It was purely pump-action, and cost about $10 new, if I recall. Dang that brings back memories.
