Well, whilst the Blade is very useful in defensive situations, and really does stun the enemy momentarily, and feels good to hold/look at, it itsn't very powerful when fired normally. Not really any more firepower than a Liquidator, and barely any more range. There isn't a particularly amazing soakage in normal fire mode; it fires fine but the water at the end of the stream is really tapered and kinda just sprinkles the enemy.

I'd recommend a Triple Agressor if you want a blaster from the 2004 line. It's so useful, and has decent power too.

Well mine is broken. It doesn't fully pressurize, there must be a leak somewhere. I'm not sure if it's worth it to fix it though. Let me put it this way: It's got worse range then the Max-D 4000,(I'm comparing my best MD-4000 to the Hydroblade tested by iSoaker.) and the blade feature is pretty much useless.(Except maybe to shower multiple hostiles from atop something.)

So you're much, much better off if you buy a MD-6000 or 5000. I don't have a 5000 anymore. I had one when I was like, 7. So I can't remember how it handled, but according to iSoaker, it can get more feet of range then the HB.
