Your site is off to a great start! Good articles and new content so far! That said, my main suggestions with your site is simple; you need to put more pics on pages. Text is good, but too much text on a page can be a little boring to look at unless it's a really good story/article. Images always help spice up a site.

That said, keep up the good work! Looking forward to watching your site grow!

I've added some pics to a couple pages; ones that I've already taken. The problem is my camera is too bad to take too many pictures; they just take up too much space and the webs maximum is 80MB and each photo was around 1.7 (ridiculous, right?). When I get a better one SNk will be getting a LOT more images.

You need to shrink/compress your images more. I try to keep images on iSoaker.com ~50-100kb each if not smaller in file size.

There is ~14000 jpgs on iSoaker.com occupying ~570Mb of space; that works out to ~40kb per image.

How do you compress your images and what would you recommend for me? Wouldn't a newer camera help, too? I'm not a real techie.

I use Adobe Fireworks for compressing (sometimes Photoshop, but Fireworks works better for me). Of course, if you don't have those, you can download Gimp for free and it works well, too. Basically, compressed JPGs are usually the best bet for photo-type images. For images that are text heavy with lots of solid colors, GIF files are a better bet.

New cameras don't really help and usually create even larger files since resolutions are higher. Keep full sized files somewhere as sources since compressed files do have some detail loss compared to the originals.
