My Profile AquaNinja

Postby AquaNinja on Mon Aug 03, 2009 2:39 pm

Hi I'm AquaNinja and this is my profile.

Well I haven't been soaking for that long (since I was 4)! and I'm 9 but I am pretty good and have a lot of kills under my belt. I usually organise water wars around my neighbourhood.

Equipment: XS 660 Blastmaster, 4 Water Pistols, 2 soakers I haven't used in years! (They're in the attic!)
My team name (although not a proper team yet!): The HydroNinjas
My position in water wars: Assault.
Other interests: Football (soccer), all sports really, Halo, CoD and Heavy metal. (yes heavy metal, if I was unpopular I wouldn't hear the last of it)
Codename: AquaNinja.

Hope you liked reading! :)

Nice. It's always good to read about other water warriors. So how popular is water warfare where you live? Are you able to consistently scrounge up more than five people for a battle?

However if you're only nine years old, you shouldn't be on iSoaker. You have to be at least thirteen. isoaker_com will probably let you stay as you seem intelligent but I'm not sure if it's safe for you to have an account here. Halo FTW!

Nice to have another metalhead around here. I don't know who else here is really into metal. I do play some Halo a bit, but not so much CoD4 as I prefer the PC version. (the 360 version absolutely sucks after you've played it on PC) I'll start playing it again once I get a new computer.

However, the rules are rules. The mininum age is 13, mostly due to stupid COPPA laws dealing with people under 13 and online forums. (parents needing to get forms signed or something stupid) I'll discuss this with iSoaker and let him deal with it, but most likely, he'll apply a ban until you're 13. Keep this in mind when registering at forums in the future.

Wow, a metalehad at 9! This guy is cool already. Welcome to the forum AuqaNinja. What everyone else has said is true, we'll see what isoaker says. In the mean time, I hope you read up on some good material on here. Also check out my website Hydrowar. It has a lot of content not featured anywhere else, especially the movies section.

Well no one in my neighbourhood really knows as much as me about water guns and stuff but I can get over 5 people. I'm having a water fight tomorrow, and I didn't know I had to be over thirteen, I sure hope to god iSoaker lets me stay I love it here!!

Hmm, I just looked through the registration forms and there is nothing on age limits, birthdays, etc. The agreement you must confirm to has nothing on it, and the registration page has no birthday form.

The rules might have changed without us being aware of it. However, the other site, Super Soaker Central, definately has an age gate.

Armory. You may have trouble finding water blasters at this time of the year now. Most water warfare material is pretty much gone from the stores I've been to recently. One year however, that was not the case. There were huge clearance sales on the gimmick blasters (tons of shield blasters, oozinators, and ooze canisters), and I picked up an oozinator and a canister for dirt cheap. Maybe next year, you can pick up on the best available in stores. This year, the Vindicator and Pulse Master were the best ones to get, though you should at least aquire a Flash Flood for starters. Squirt guns and pistols won't soak very well. (but pistols [that is, small pressurized blasters] make great sidearms since they're light and small)

C-A_99's right, you could be here to stay. However C-A_99 is right in the respect that SSC certainly has a minimum age of thirteen. Good luck!

Oh yeah, which artists do you listen to? My favorites are Necrophagist, Lamb of God, Slayer, and Children of Bodom. Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, and Black Sabbath are pretty cool too. The UK seems to have a lot of good shows that go around.

You're probably aware of the CPS line by now, which can only be aquired through eBay or friends. (or garage sales if you're lucky) These are pretty legendary, and just about all of them are better than any of the best you can get from stores today. (though a few of them are on par with the Vindicator) With k-modding and/or other additions, they set the standard for range and power on 1 hit kill matches and soakfest matches alike. What rules does your group play by? (be specific, like how kills are scored, points counted, etc.) Even if you find one that's broken, chances are that it can be repaired.

SSC, while you may not be able to register for their forums, has everything you need to know on repairing, modifications, and homemades. You can post here at isoaker if you need help with water blaster functuality.

I like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Alice in Chains (Grunge), Pearl Jam (Grunge) and Megadeth. My team play by if you are fully soaked you are out, you get points for kills (duh) you just really need to eliminate the other team to win. All the bands I like my Dad got me into well one was me cousin but my Dad shown me most he has loads of CD's! Oh yeah I found this place from SSC I used to like browsing the site.

If you've gotten to go to one of those download festivals, I'm freaking jealous. I've never been able to go to any metal concert, and funny thing is, I've played in 2 lousy high school shows with my band. (I play drums, we covered lamb of god, slayer, and megadeth and played some of our own songs)

Most of us play by that any substaintial shot gives a kill. A lot of it is slightly video game inspired, as well as influenced by paintball, airsoft, and nerf game rules. My group plays by 2 hit kills. If you are barely hit with glancing streams (i.e. just a few droplets; a very indirect hit, also water balloon splash damage), 2 of those is a kill. Any direct hit at close range is an instant kill, as is direct water balloon hits. "Fully soaked" is tough to play by since it takes time to figure out when you're out or not, and seems to increase the amount of double-soakdowns. (that is, 2 people getting kills off of each other; something I try my best to avoid)

Had a water fight today, it sucked because hardly anyone even brought a firearm so I sent them home for buckets, cups etc. My Blastmaster once again scared people to death (wonder how they'd feel with a Monster XL in their face)! I soaked everyone and everyone chased me around the block. We then started to play football (soccer) and I have just arrived home.

You really gotta build up that armory for people who can't fend for themselves. Thats the surest way to get people to actually play. Are there hoses around your playing area? That should scare the crap out of them if you don't have a CPS/monster to do so.
