One Week 'til "On-Season" Starts

Postby isoaker on Sat Mar 14, 2009 8:09 am

~One week until "On-Season" starts! Granted, different places may have slightly different practical "On-Season" start dates due to average local temperatures and such. Nevertheless, are YOU ready? Got plans for wars or recruiting? Let us know what you're up to with the start so near!

I am psyched for the on season so I can clear out $1000+ dollars of Super Soakers and downsize my collection to some essentials. Having over 100 super soakers is impractical at this point and unnecessary, especially with other expenses. Spring means a good time to sell! (or buy)

It's good to get back to the season of soaking. A great distraction from work and stress, which permeates so thoroughly.

What are you thinking about selling? I am looking to expand my collection, it's not as big as most of you probably think. Most of the guns I reviewed for Hydrowar over the years were from my friends/team.

Right now, I'm desperately recruiting. There have been a lot of "maybe"s and a few of our earlier recruits have quit. Our core three members(myself and two neighbours) are in utter confusion, and we're thinking of scrapping the team. Unfortunately, that would mean giving Team Fear the title of "Best and Only Significant Water Warfare Team in Ontario", which our team wants very much.

I'll be updating our team's thread monthly, so if there are any new developments or if our team decides to disband, you'll know about it.

Water Warrior for three summers and counting.
Was captain of a team, but team disbanded due to lack of interest.
Still love soakers.

Where did you pick up that shortened Monster XL from?. I've been keeping a keen eye on Ebay using every search term I can think of, but only saw full-length MXL's!
