Most small blasters are pretty easy to hold under the arm. Others, like the Max-D 2000 and 3000 (I'd recommend the 2000 because it's smaller and has a better grip) fit into most reasonably sized pockets, you don't even need a clip and belt nor a holster. I'd recommend that, which I do for all my wars. It weighs no more than a .5L refill bottle, and for me, simply takes the place of one. As for dual wielding, practice holding various blasters with just your left hand. You shouldn't always have to pump a blaster under arm while pumping the other if it's light, like a pistol. In any case, with any blaster, being able to 1-hand fire it can be a helpful skill on the field by virtually extending max. range by how far your arm can reach out, as well as giving you more flexibility to move the gun around. That said, I usually still prefer having something like a 1200 or 2500 strapped and I even carry and shoot with the strap on. (perhaps I need to weight lift more often so I can handle them comfortably without the strap)
At a war I had a few days ago, dual Max-D 3000's worked very well for our light/low powered weapons only elimination games. Having two blasters allows you to cover two areas instead of one at a time. Tap shooting prevents their low water capacity from being a problem, and it just looks and feels badass to charge up and pulse-attack someone with alternating streams. While dual wielding isn't a skill important by itself, it enables more flexibility with your shooting in general. Can you shoot a 1200 left handed? In some cases, that would be helpful if you're under cover and need to come out from the side.
