Aquatic Soaking Squad - Michigan, USA

Postby C-A_99 on Tue Mar 18, 2008 4:05 pm

The old name, Aquatic aSsault Squad, sounds better (and makes more sense), but didn't fit the abbreviation perfectly so it got changed.

Anyways, nothing different out of our team profile description. We're a relatively informal group who usually meets at my (group leader's) house for wars and fight between friends' houses. (though we'll play anywhere that's good) The teams are arranged at each event as well as which soakers are used, and the events are scheduled and organized much like LAN parties, with invitations distributed typically by email and the blasters, teams, etc. decided at each game. (though the "map" is always predetermined)

We have many CPS's and some lightly modded soakers (mostly light K-mods and nozzle drillings) as well as some homemades. Each year, group leaders aim to progress towards battlefield expansion, more players, different gametypes, equiptment and homemades, etc. Skill level varies quite a bit among members, from raw recruits (many of who are fairly good actually, and most at least have the basic sense of how to play) to some who have been soaking for a while. The skill level sometimes depends more on the person than the time they've been playing.

Well, within our own team, there are no official teams nor squads, though certain members may go on a certain team based on tradition and/or which team their friends are on. However, I have to put all of our stuff together in order to get team info up here. (and perhaps for fighting other teams)

I doubt I can get in any more wars for the time being. It'll be a while anyways. In fact, I'm having trouble organizing anything with friends these days, part of it from the previous failed "war". I got a few guns to repair as well but recently I've been working on other stuff.

I'll post something if something comes up though.
