Whoa, Excelite. You're a mod? :p Well, good to have you back, anyway!

So, what's your history and current interests in soaking? I'd be curious to know. :)

Yup, Excelite is a mod, even in spite of his longer period of inactivity. He's done great things in the past for the community and will remain a mod for as long as he likes (and as long as this board is running), barring any random behaviour, of course. :goofy:

@ Excelite: Good to see you around! You're most welcome here whenever you've got the time to stop by. Gosh knows it can be tricky balancing soaker use and real life, not to mention developing other interests, too. Good to hear that you still enjoy the odd water fight when the occasion permits! Soak on!

Yeah, I figured he must have done something big. Enjoy soaking!

iSoaker, is this the only board this site has had? Or are there some old forums archived somewhere?

Someone needs to read up on their Soakerdom history! :p

iSoaker ran WWN, which was once the largest forum in the soaking community, and which is no longer online.

@Excelite-Long time no see! I remember you from WWN and the old SSC. Welcome back!

That kind of sucks that WWN is no longer online. So many things I could be reading about!

Thanks for the warm welcome back, guys!

I'll post a bit more later, as I'm not even sure what I'm actually remembered for :P. I'll need to give that a bit more thought.

I think I was Collosus modding and chopping up my guns before it became popular, but I was by no means the orginator of the mod. I had a (rather terrible) WBL, and I was an H2H advocate back in the day.

My opinion on that has changed, but I still like the idea of smacking someone with a foam bayonet on the end of my CPS 2500 :;):.

I probably have a good 6 or 7 years on everyone here :p, and I made the "Soak On!" smiley on the left (and the other one? I don't remember... haha).

Hi there, I'm CX360.
I have a few SuperSoakers and such that I use everytime the friends come over. I have a huge backyard with an above-ground pool that provides a little height diffrence.
I only have one hose by the AC, but it's good enough.

Hey Guys/Gals...

I am a old guy(well, probably old to you guys anyway), got into the whole super soaker thing a few years back when I bought a CPS 2500 for myself to take to my nephew's birthday...Since then, I have bought a couple every year, and this year just added a Monster XL to my arsenal...

Found isoaker.com on a google for super soakers when I was planning my trip up to Michigan for my nephew's birthday party this year and wanted to get a few vintage guns for the annual water war...:)

So, you guys should have a buy/sell/trade forum for folks that would be interested in selling/buying/trading guns with enthusiasts...I know that even though I could sell my 2500 for some cash on ebay, I would rather sell it to someone that would use it and appreciate it...(not that I am selling my 2500, just a example)...

Good to be here and isoaker, you have done a most excellent job on this site!

Actually, this forum includes buying/selling/trading soakers! The old dedicated forum didn't see much activity so things were just merged into this one (since it's also *members only*).

Welcome to the forums, of course!

Oh wow, I just realized how dated my entry here sounds. Hate when things aren't kept current:

Alias: Duxburian
Name: Rob
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Location: Ridgewood, NJ, USA
Other Interests:Long distance biking, sailing, computer games, Nerf, photography, website design, winter and spring track, hiking in the woods, TV production, card games, building card houses [my record is 17 floors, beat that], swimming, arguing about politics, and a lot of other stuff.
Soaking Experience: I've probably fought in more wars than many here. 6 years of semi-organized soakfests, and 3 so far of hardcore war. I also invented "Tactical Theory" and am in the process of writing a huge book on it. Last entry, I was posting about how my tactics "aren't all that shabby", now I've become somewhat of an authority on the art of fighting a water war. A lot changes in one short year...
Goals: Last entry "break 12 in the 100m" was a goal. Well right now I'm sitting on 12.0 flat. And this year, I realized you're supposed to let adrenaline out if you get a rush during a sprint! During practice, due to lack of endurance, I often would hold it all back.

There's an RP that just started at waterwarfare.com. Where you referring to it, or did you not know about it? :)

Hello!

My name is Vince Greif. Been a fan of Super Soakers since the XPs of old times. Never thought there was message boards about them though! I thought I was the only one who felt nostalgic about them.

College has kept me busy, but I should be home for the summer soon, at least once I get through these finals. At home I have a few old-school Super Soakers like the XP 150 and CPS 1000. I always wanted to get more, but my mother never let me. They haven't been used in a few years, so I figure I should dust them off when I get home.

I enjoyed this website immensely too. Loads of nostalgia! Thank you isoaker_com.

Welcome to the forums!

I've heard the XP 150 and the CPS 1000 are quite nice guns, so I hope you have fun with them! There are quite a few Super Soaker collectors here.
