Other Hobbies: Bodybuilding and Reality TV
Soaking Experience: Used to have water fights everyday 14 years ago when I first got an SS50, then as I got older I forgot about how fun they were. After picking up a Flash Flood at Toys R Us a week and a half ago I'm getting back into it.

Went through 2 flash floods that broke, (I read that there's a way to fix em but I'm not a handy man), So the only weapon I have now is the apd.

 Name's Walter. No one around here to shoot. I found this site through H2oC. and thought I'd find some fun.

Right now I'm looking to expand my soaker collection. I have five guns, two of which are on the fritz. When I say fritz I mean one leaks like something else and the other is missing it's QDF and may be broken.

Right now I drawing a naked lady from a book on the figure in motion and I'm digging a hole in the woods in order to make a "Mud Hut".

I live in an area with access to lots of trees and hills and lakes and ponds and leaves and sticks and hiding places. But no one wants to get WET. And if they do they just want to stand there and sqirt my face. I need a release. HELP! I'm tired of shooting at WALLS :blazer:

Lastly, I talk a lot, I'm an idiot, and I can't always spell better than your average nineteen forties imagrent... SEE.

Okay, my name is Lt.Winters,
Ich bin from B.C, Canada.
I got a CPS 4100, a CPS 1-3-5 (unmodded), and hoping to get a FF. Or new blasters as they come.
I've had interest in water warfare from a military standpoint, took it seriously for the past two years, but little or no skills/experience learned. But losted interest last September, due to lack of water fights (mainly becasue i only get to play once a year, und the '04 crap ass soakers). But my interest was resurrected after noticing some power put into the 2005 line.

Und just wondering if any of you have x-fire?

Soaking experience: Back in 1999 when I got my CPS2500 I shot non-stop (was a young'n back then) Rarely had anyone to shoot with. Just getting back into it after fixing my 2.5k. Like the mechanical side of things - mods, new designs etc. Don't mind seeing nice custom paint jobs either.

Hoping to see some new soakers with stats and looks to match those of old (like most) or find old soakers for sale locally.

Other interests: I'm an apprentice carpenter/builder and I enjoy it. Freeride mountain biking.

Wetmonkey442
I've been active online since winter/spring 2002/2003
My favorite gun is (as most from the WWN boards could tell you) to 2700
I'm a mod at SM
I'm a primate (obviously).
The leprekan (kudos to whoever actually remembers him), and myself together form an unstoppable force of mayhem and just general post havoc.

I haven't been very active since the last WWN.

Here is the longer, more complete history of wetmonkey, that I posted on SSC:

My name is wetmonkey. I am a part of the Howler family of monkey's though some ay I look a bit like a baboon (comes from my mom's side). I came across the water warfare community in late 2002 and joined up on the original WWN in spring 2003, along with my jungle friend, the leprekan. I revolutionized the water warfare industry in 2003 by showing everyone that a primate can also hold and correctly operate a super soaker (my opposable toes made quadruple wielding extremely easy.)
In my spare time, I enjoy finding bigger trees and climbing them with the Leprekan. He doesn't like heights much and stays in the lower levels. We also like to antagonize the other animals in the jungle by reminding them just how unbelievably un evolved they are compared to us. The rest of our time is spent between learning karate (him tang soo do, me, tae kwon do) and attempting to remember the location of his pot of gold (he forgot where he put in when he was at the tender age of 8).
I occasionally pop onto SSC to challenge Doom's rules of spelling and grammar, and see what's going on in the worlds largest water warfare forum. I am currently a moderator at SoakerMedia (Why they hired a primate, I have no idea), and am enjoying my experience.
I enjoy being with humans, and am often amused at their attempts at etiquette and manners (you can't expect much from organisms that originated in caves, but my level of patience is extraordinary).

As any of the more veteran members at SSC and the iSoaker forums can tell you, my weapon of choice on the battlefield is the crazy colored edition of the CPS 2700. I enjoy annoying my opponents my highlighting it's details with hot pink and neon green.

That's pretty much all you need to know about me. You'll find that every now and then I'll disappear for a few weeks. This is due to the fact that I need to get a new battery for my wireless lap top. No electricity in the jungle!

And here is the older outdated history (The one I submitted to Soaker Sagas)

I got my first soaker in 1999. It happened to be an SC 500. I remember my brother got an SC 400, and my mum got a XP 270. We moved to our current home, and the 270 was lost forever. However, I still had the SC 500 with me, and my brother still had his SC 400. For about 3 years, I forgot all about them. Then in the winter of 2003, I got interested in rubber band guns. My cousin had one and it was tons of fun. So I began to search on the internet for rubber band gun wars. I came across a small site called Jeff’s Page, which had a few pages dedicated to rubber band guns. Most of the site was all about Lego, but 3 or 4 pages were about water guns.

I had never really given any thought to organised water warfare, but the idea sounded fun. The site had about three reviews, and some tips, tactics, and other information. I remembered my SC 500, and dug around in my basement for awhile before I found it. I also found the SC 400. I read everything on Jeff’s site, but that was not enough to satisfy my growing curiosity. So I searched the web for super soakers. The first page I came across was the defence page of Water Wars, run by General RAK. Little did I know that I was viewing one page in one of the greatest water warfare sites. Unfortunately, I figured that that was the only page of the site and passed it up. I eventually ran into the Aqua Nexus, and read everything on that site before moving on. I next ran into iSoaker.com, and then I couldn’t get enough of it. I instantly went out and bought a CPS 2700, and a MD 6000.

I began to organise a team, and figured I didn’t have enough soakers, so I bought two Max-D 3000s, and an XP 215. I also got two XP 240s. I began to memorise soaker classes and types. I posted a few times on the Aqua Nexus board, but everyone pointed me in the direction of Water War.Net. I was hesitant to join at first (I had never joined an online community before), but once I did, I was extremely happy. I learned that one of my friends owned a CPS 2100. BAM! He was instantly part of our team. I then bought a CPS 1200 from General RAK. My brother got one soon after, and we began to have one on one battles.

My brother got a Secret Strike and a MD 2000. MY 2700’s pump broke, and I was devastated. Having no real repair experience, I foolishly threw it out. I began to build a reputation on WWN, and bought a CPS 4100. It broke soon, and I couldn’t fix it. I lost too many parts, but was smart enough not to throw it out. I bought an XP Triple Play, as well as a ARM XL 4000. My team has grown since than to six members. My 1200 broke, but I will be getting a replacement soon. I have grown an interest in modifying as well.
My avatar changes to reflect what water gun I am most excited about.

My favorite water gun would have to be the Piranha as of now, seems reliable :) (Although one of my friends put a huge crack in the pump cap right after I opened the box it came out of (bought it online). Hopefully its fixed...I just used some electrical tape to cover it, so I'll have to check out its performance tomorrow)
I hope to share the fun and good humour about my water gunning experiences with the boards.
I've never been in a water war, skirmish, or anything above 2 or 3 people shooting each other for fun :)
I hope to organize a war next time it hits upper 80's here, but first I've gotta convince people to go and have fun :)
I have no team, but am in the process of creating one. If anyone could post/PM some helpful tips on convincing others to play, please do :)

Thanks for listening
-Magnor :p

By the way, check out the Rules for my newly invented SoakFest-esque game in the Draft Soaker Rules thread. Input on all the games there is desired. So head on over and ctritique the rules as much as possible!

Hi all, registering on behalf of our 20+man army. Our standard-issue is the Vaporizer (due to shortage of good guns in Singapore). We have wargames regularly, and an active R&D division. We are attempting to specialize in urban combat, so any tips would be very much appreciated. :)

I've got 2 Vaporizers, one XP Backfire, some assorted water pistols, and a failed attempt at making a water bomb crossbow.

Our R&D div is currently developing power armour, a magnetic acclerator water sniper and some other stuff. I'll try to post details if I have time.

Thanks!

Might as well introduce myself here.

Name: Ben (duh?)

Interests: Soaking, bushwalking, writing, computer edits, Counter-Strike.. (list goes on..)

Location: NSW, Sydney, Australia

There we go. Yet another first post. I've been on these forums before, under another username. I was one of the first people signed up here, then when the "Soaking Season" stopped, I lost interest. Coming back here, with a clean slate, shall be good.

There goes my plan to use that username. Welcome to iSoaker.com! If you're going to join my forum, you're going to have to choose a different name because I use the same one there.

Age: 17

Experience: Not a lot, but I get in the odd battle in the summer. I spend more time modding the guns. I haven't managed much more than about half a dozen people to a battle.

Favourite Weapon: My heavily modded CPS 2700. This has got so many mods, it's now banned under international treaty law. It's got as much firepower as the CPS 2500 - but a better shot time , and all the old goodness (I cut extra nozzles, rather than adjust the old nozzles)

Other interests: Computer gaming of various calibres, and all sorts of things - I'm not a one-shot weapon!

I'm making all sorts of weird stuff for my armoury, but it's on hold at the moment, as I plow into my A-levels

I was wondering if you guys were still around the other day... great to see the community is still alive and well :D.

It's been awhile since I've posted ANYTHING here, and I noticed my name in the "Lost" thread, so I'll update you guys with what I've been doing for the last two years.

I'm going to school full time, working towards a degree in mechanical engineering (soakers have been in the back of my mind since I've decided this - we will be learing about fluid mechanics next year, woohoo).

I haven't really lost interest in soakers - I had one great battle last year! BUT, it has been downgraded from full-time passion to something I do outside with my friends once or twice a year. I don't mod anymore, and I don't plan to mess with (or sell!) any of the guns I have. Sorry to disappoint anyone with eyes on my stock CPS guns :goofy:.

My passions in life, for the outdoors, the mechanical, and personal fitness are now devoted to this:

Image

So if any of you want to know about mountain biking, or the university life/undergraduate engineering in Canada, I can try to answer your questions :P.

Cheers!
Now, get off your butts and stage a war with your friends!
It's almost springtime!

Exelite, I still remember you from good old WWN. (back then my name was "The dark ANNIHILATOR") . Welcome back.
And not selling that painted CPS2500 of yours,eh? Oh well, that might change if you have to pay back a student loan after university. :p
