My dad has a workbench in our basement. It has dozens of screwdriver sizes, a bunch of hammers, a LOT of wrenches, a box full of drill bits, glue gun, you name it.

But for water gun parts I just use an old plastic tank.

I belive it held a goldfish at one time. :D

I'm wondering; anyone here will to take and share pics of their workshop where they do their modding and/or building? Would be neat to see different members' workspaces and the sort of tools they use. Of course, avoid including any personally identifying items from being included in any of the pics if you're concerned about some aspects of your privacy.

Soak on!

I keep too much stuff in my shop

So I built a workbench to keep it organized. Pegboard is a great thing lol.

If you or someone makes 'em and they're within size limits, I'll post 'em!

My "workshop" still predominantly resides in the family room. If I need to chop up PVC or use a Dremel, then I go to the basement. When/if the basement becomes cleaner, I may finally move everything there, not sure.

my "shop"ntakes up most of my grandparent's basement (or their garage :goofy: ) it is simpler because there are a LOT of handy tools there that i can't get my hands on @ home, including the ever-elusive "triangle screwdriver".

see, my grandfather had a lot of odd jobs in his life, but the point is that at one point he worked for one of those unamed toy companies that made walmart toys. so practically anything i need to mod is within easy reach. (ok, pvc can be tough, but i still manage :goofy: )

sorry, but i'm rather far from their house right now so i can't take a full inventory. *but a lot of the non-powered stuff is rather old, so it's not of so much use. but there is a huge selection of screwgun tips to choose from, so no matter the mod, it can get done :D

there's also a semi-functional sink down there, so i can also do testing on-site so quick-fixes are a snap :)

all that, a mini-fridge, a rather sturdy table (my "workbench" :goofy: ) and everything you need to do your laundry for a few months and you have my "shop" :goofy:

note that everything after the * is about the basement, not the garage.

Hacksaw
Pipe cutters (really awesome at cutting pipe)
Pliers
Vice grips
Razor
Screwdrivers
PVC cement and primer
Superglue
Duct tape
Epoxy putty

@Soakernerd: I see you built a SNAP...
