One of my Max-D 5000s have a screwed up ball valve. If I pump it and fire and let go of the trigger, I have a small stream that goes at max, 1 meter. If I pump like crazy after pulling the trigger, the full Max-D stream comes out, but doesnt go too far, want without much pressure

Is there any possible way for me to repair my Max-D 5000

Thread moved to appropriate forum.

That said, there are various tips on how to repair a malfunctioning Max-D trigger.

Check out Article on Max-D 4000 Nozzle Mechanism Repair

I swore there was also an article at SSCentral, but couldn't find the link.

We do have articles on most trigger valve repairs, but none on Max-D repair. M's site does have another article with pictures if the one here doesn't help you Croc: http://www.geocities.com/m15399/rubberband.html

I have found a good use for my Max-D now, I am currently using it for modding (Check Valve Freezing) and am thinking of putting a spring from a broken mechanical pencil in the rusty old screws place. As of now, I have no elastics, as I have a massive rubber band ball which has all the elastics I possibly can find in it. However, if I manage to find a thin elastic, I will use it to improve my firing mechanism (like at the websied in the link from Doom).
