It shouldn't be too hard, but you would have to reach to the front of the gun to pull the trigger. If you had to do that, might as well make a homemade.

But use rubber bands instead of a coil spring. The spring would be unreliable, but rubber bands have been proven to work. I've replaced a 2100 trigger valve with a homemade one, [well not quite finished], and it is not that hard to do.

OK I have figured out what the problem is. I have sawed opened the valve, but what do I use to seal it back up? Plumbers adhesive, epoxy, what should I use?

Uh... as I don't recall anyone else having ever opened the valve, no one has ever needed to re-seal it. You'd likely need to use something rather strong, but not too runny that it'd get into the inner, moving parts of the valve.

What was the problem, anyhow? As well, could you take some pictures of the opened valve? Seeing the parts and how you did the sawing would give clues about what adhesive/glue may work best.

I've opened a trigger valve. I wasn't able to fix the problem I had, so I just replaced it with a ball valve. While it is not the same type of trigger valve, I've learned that one little mistake will screw the valve.

Yea nice I used a bow saw to open this trigger. Before I used a jig saw to do any of these operations. Thanks for posting the pictures of the valve.

I think that a good epoxy should work, assuming that you mean you fixed the seal and everything, and just want to close it up again. Try not to get any in the inside though, that would probably make a worse problem.

Thanks but I have already used plumber’s adhesive, and bonded the plastic.

Finally I have fixed it. Thanks everyone who submitted and posted. I thank you guys a lot. I would like to say that this forum is more experienced. The people here have more ideas, and more comment.
