The Fate of this Board - ^

General news, announcements, and other posts from and/or related to other water warfare-related news and websites.

Well, I've been back from holidays now a little over a week and a half; enough time to get re-adjusted to the time zone and putter around the web in more familiar surroundings (namely my own computer).

It is interesting, as always, to see how online Soakerdom evolves. The launch of Water-Talk.org during my holidays appears to be a welcome addition to the online water warfare landscape. SSCentral continues to be running strong as well which bodes well, IMO, for the community.

That said, while these forums have been streamlined, I plan to continue to keep them running until the next phase of online evolution here.

I've also spent some time thinking and have decided to remain predominantly active here, only popping up on Water-Talk.org (and SSCentral once I set up an account) when I've got a more significant announcement to make regarding iSoaker.com. This will allow me to spend my energies better focussed on what I enjoy doing most, namely developing iSoaker.com. I remain a definite advocate for others to continue developing their own parts of online Soakerdom. I just will focus in areas I feel most capable and comfortable.

Well, Soakology.net is silently advertising itself as having the "most extensive Database of water gun reviews on the planet" so I'm just making sure iSoaker.com covers what it can.

See... as you've now confirmed by your statement, there is always room to grow. :goofy:

Actually, you may be misinterpreting my description. I intentionally put "Water GUN" in the title, because I know that you have a bunch of devices and toys which I'll never get, but I have more water guns (unique and total) than you, allowing me to make more Super Soaker/Water-Warrior reviews than you.
Nothing personal, but it's just that I'm going to have more of a pool to draw from since I have more guns. :-\

Uh.. huh? :oo:

You questioned where "iSc has room to develop", yet you state you can push up more reviews since you have more soakers. Thus, one way iSoaker.com can grow is by getting more soakers to review, answering your initial question. ...I never took anything personal from your statement. If you have more access to soakers to get info from, that's cool. Push up more info!
