Part One: Sore Loser
My brother Cobra, as well as Dreadnaught, Zach, and myself went to a flea market where apparently there would be many soakers to buy. In the end we didn't find anything so we went back to my house and decided to start a water fight.
We decided to have a game we call Soak the Flag which is like capture the Flag except instead of capturing it, you soak it. By the way, Flag = paper towel. Anyway, the teams were Dreadnaught and me, with Cobra and Zach on the other team.
I hid our flag in Zach's backyard and they hid theirs on a chair on my back porch.
Armaments:
Me: my trusty Helix
Dreadnaught: Hose (he was base defense)
Cobra: Flash Flood and Max-D 2000
Zach: Superman shield blaster
We started the game. I went on a sneak attack and made it to the bottom of the porch steps. Cobra spotted me and I took off. He shot me a little bit with his Max-D, but I avoided most of the water. I went back to our base and talked to Dreadnaught. We formulated a plan. Then we used it.
I went back the way I had come when I ran from Cobra. He wasn't at the base or so it seemed. As this was happening, Dreadnaught had snuck to Cobra's hose and secured it. I heard him coming back so I backed up and then ran up the driveway towards where Dreadnaught was.
He spotted me and gave chase. I yelled to Dread to turn the hose on. He did. Cobra ran right into the blast. He got pretty wet. He went back to his base. Dread pulled the hose along. I went up the stairs and right in front of me was his flag. I got ready to soak.
Suddenly, Cobra jumped out with his gun pointed at my heart. I yelled as a shot hit my chest. Dread came up behind me and shot Cobra in the.. everything. Cobra ran away and yelled that he was going to soak our flag. As he ran away I shot his flag and completely marinated it.
About 45 seconds later, Cobra made it to our flag and being a sore loser, soaked it. In the end we never ran into Zach. It turned out he was inside eating lunch.
Results: Viperfox/Dreadnaught Team Wins!
Part Two: No Surrender without Wetness
After the Sore Loser battle, Cobra went over to Zach's house to play. So Dread and I decided we would have a 1-on-1 duel.
Armaments:
Me: My trusty Helix
Dreadnaught: Max-D 2000 and later my hose
I started on my back porch and Dread started on my front porch. I went around my house on the side that didn't have the hose on it, and got to the sidewalk out front. I walked towards the driveway and got to the end. All of a sudden, Dread popped up from behind the hedge that is in front of my front porch and shot me in the shoulder.
I shot him a couple times and then I ran back the way I had come and got back to my base. Then I heard the sound any soaker warrior hates: the sound of your enemy turning on a hose. I hid behind a garbage can at the bottom of my back porch's steps. Sadly, Dread saw me. He came up the back steps of the porch and turned on the nozzle.
I squeezed of a shot in his direction as he was turniong on the nozzle but I never got to see it hit him. In fact I don't even know if it hit him because a half second after the helix of water left my gun, the hose shot a fan blast at me and in the next half second I ducked back behing the garbage can. Water thudded down on the top of the garbage can and dripped down on to me.
After about 30 seconds of this, I ran out and went up the hill on the other side of the porch. I was pretty soaked. I got to the sidewalk again and heard Dread coming up the driveway side of my house. I ran back to my base and Zach and Cobra were there playing.
I told them to keep it down so they wouldn't reveal my position. I ran to the back steps and looked down the driveway. Dread was at the sidewalk and he turned and went past the hedge. I made my move. I ran to the wall spigot where the hose was connected. I planned to turn it off and when Dread came after me he would be unarmed.
I got to the spigot and I heard him coming back. I quickly turned the faucet. I turned it up instead of down. I heard Dread behind me and then I yelled "I surrender". A split second later I felt a blast of ice cold water hit my back. I yelled again. He couldn't hear me, and the water kept on coming.
The next time I screamed, 'I SURRENDER!" He finally turned it off. I was SOAKED! If there was a dry part of my body it would have been about a micrometer in diameter. Everything was soaked.

Deception
Players: Myself, Dreadnaught, and Cobra
I had just bought a Tiger Shark and my brother had bought a Sneak Attack, So we decided to have a fight.
Type: Free for all 3 way duel
Armaments:
Me: Tiger Shark
Cobra: Sneak Attack with 100oz aqua pack
Dreadnaught: Helix with 50oz aqua pack
We started in different areas of my yard. I started on the back porch and made my way toward where my brother was, near the hose, thinking I could force him away and secure the area. Unfortunetly he had his own plans.
I continued to make my way toward the hose and got to about 15 feet away when all of a sudden both Cobra and Dread jumped out from behind the bushes in my front yard and opened fire. I shot Cobra in the chest with the medium stream from the Tiger Shark and he recoiled. Dread however, continued blasting me with the tight stream from the Helix.
A shot to the face with the large stream ended his assault for long enough for me to retreat to a more defendable position. They didn't give chase, which I took to be a sign that they were going around the other way around my house. So I decided to take them by surprise and cut them off.
I made my way up the path on the grassy side of my house and got to the sidewalk. I carefully looked around the bushes and they weren't there. I started to return to the back porch when I heard them on the other side of the house on the driveway heading toward the back.
I decided to launch another operation to secure the hose. I got to the hose and waited. After about 10 seconds I remembered that I had to refill my gun. So I turned on the hose and filled it up. I pumped it to full pressure and went back to the side path.
I got to the sidewalk when I heard something behind me. I turned and found my self staring down the barrels of a Helix and a Sneak Attack. Really they were about 15 feet away but I was still startled. Dread opened fire on me with the Helix and I returned fire. Cobra however just watched. I wondered what he was waiting for then it dawned on me: he was waiting for Dread to get the advantage so he could finish me off.
As soon as this thought crossed my mind, Cobra aimed his gun at me. I prepared to dodge but it didn't matter because a second later a stream of water left the gun and hit...Dreadnaught! Cobra had put the sideways nozzel on his Sneak Attack to good use. He continued blasting Dread with it while I drenched Dread with a large stream of water.
Dreadnaught surrendered and my brother and I declared a truce. after that we ran around in the sprinkler.

Tundra Fury Awakened
Dreadnaught had purchased a Arctic Blast and we were ready to see how he could fight with it. The armaments were as follows.
Myself: Tiger Shark with Helix as backup
Cobra: Sneak Attack attached to 100oz. aquapack and Lanard Aqua Blaster as backup
Dreadnaught: Arctic Blast with 50oz. aqua pack
Type of Game: 3-way free for all
I started on the back porch, Dread on the front, and Cobra on the grass side of my house. I moved to the driveway side and advanced towards the hose. Dread was there. He asked if I wanted to team up. I said yes. He moved around the grassy side of my house and I went back down the driveway side.
"AAAAAAA!" I heard a scream from the other side of the house. It was my brother. Suddenly he ran from the back porch out into the driveway, soaking wet. I opened fire on Cobra with both my Helix and Tiger Shark. I heard Dread coming up behind me.
He shot a stream over my head at Cobra and then launched a blast of Tundra Fury. Cobra caught the full blast. I made my move. I moved in and switched my nozzle selector to small stream and shot Cobra in the neck. My efforts were rewarded with a blast to the face and another to the chest from his Sneak Attack.
Dread was at this point advancing toward us and I started to run towards him. Cobra was keeping us under heavy fire. I fired a few shots back and told Dread to retreat to his house. We refilled our guns at his apartment and headed back out.
We took the back way to my house and ended up in my backyard. I told Dread to go up the grassy side and I went up the driveway. Cobra was waiting. I double wielded again and dodged his returning fire. I saw Dread coming up behind him and told him to shoot the fan blast.
Cobra turned around, saw Dread preparing to fire, and shot him in the face. I quickly switched to large stream and shot my brother point blank in the back. He surrendered and Dread and I were the winners.

Ranger vs. Ranger
Dread came over with a present he had gotten from his cousin. It was another CPS 2100! I decided we should have some training battles, then we could fight for points.
Game Type: 1-on-1 Duel
Armaments:
Myself: My 2100 "Bandit", and my trusty Helix
Dreadnaught: His 2100 "Ocelot", and my WW Argon for backup (my brother's Sneak Attack was used later)
We started off with Dread on my back porch, and I was behind my garage in my neighbors yard. These two girls named Angel and Lisa offered to help me. I said okay. I came over to their yard for about 10 minutes, then I looked back to the yard I was in before, and Dread was standing right there! I jumped up, and fired my 2100 at him.
He dodged, and started firing back with the Argon and the 2100. I hid behind a tree right near the fence separating the two yards. He tried to come forwards, but he wouldn't get anywhere near my 2100. I made a mistake at that point, though later it would help me.
I popped out from behind the tree, and fired towards Dread. I ran past Lisa who got hit by the stream of water rocketing at my back. I got hit too. A small splotch on my right shoulder. Lisa got the worst of it. Her shirt was drenched. I ran back to the tree, and tried again to catch Dread off guard, but he was too fast.
When I ran this time, he got me in the back, then ran to the fence to finish me off. I ran back towards the fence, and he shot at me. But I dodged the blast, and ran at him. He pulled the trigger of his 2100, but all that came out was air. I aimed and fired. He tried to run backwards, but I got him on his left shoulder, and his chest.
That was my last full shot I could get out of my 2100, so I switched to my Helix. Bad decision, one of the girls pumped up my 2100 to the max, and it turned out there was one last full shot left. I had hurt my right wrist a few days earlier, so the Helix's output wasn't exactly amazing.
Dread fired a few more shots at me, then said he needed to refill. I was running low too, so we went back to my house to refill. While I was reloading the Bandit, Dread remarked that the Argon wasn't working to his expectations, and he requested my brother's Sneak Attack. So I went and got it. I went back to the girls' yard, and waited for Dread to finish filling his guns.
He came around the garage a different way this time, and almost shot me several times. I ran off towards his house after that. I snuck up the back way to my house, but then I realized Dread wasn't there anymore. I reasoned that he must have seen me going towards his house, and went there to attack me. I went back to his house, and ran to the sidewalk.
I saw Dread near my house, and he turned and saw me. I didn't know this, so I quickly crouched behind a bush. I saw him walking towards me, that he said, "Colin, I know you're behind the bush." My normal reaction at this time would have been to jump up and shoot him, but I had a better idea. I kept hidden, and I could tell he was getting uneasy, so at that moment, I struck.
I popped up, and he started to say something, but all I cared about was the 5x stream of water already barreling towards Dreadnaught's chest. DIRECT HIT! I quickly realized something was awry. Dread had a very angry look on his face, and threw his 2100 down to the grass. He yelled that his mom had told him not to get any wetter.
I calmed him down by explaining that he should have told me that when he was telling me that he knew I was behind the bush. He said he was done, so I took that as an unconditional surrender.
I'm keeping my points for winning, but to be fair (because of the reason for his departure from the game), I'm not taking any points away from Dreadnaught.

The Battle of the Misplaced Flags
I called up Panther and asked him if he wanted to fight against Dread and Cobra. He said sure, so I started filling guns.
Game Type: Soak the Flag: Free For All
Armaments:
Team Blackhawk
Viperfox: CPS 2100 and Max-D 5000
Panther: WW Tiger Shark and Storm 800
Team Supercobra
Dreadnaught: CPS 2100 and Arctic Shock w/50oz. Aqua Pack
Cobra: Sneak Attack with 100oz Aqua Pack
Regarding placement of the flags, they had to be in the open, but not necessarily in an open area. Each team got a half of the block (Blackhawks got the side with my house, Supercobras, the side with Dread's apartment building), and two flags.
I hid mine behind my neighbor's shed against a fence covered with ivy. Panther wanted to scout a bit, so he asked me to hid his. I hid it a few yards along the fence from mine, but on the other side so you would have to look over the fence to find it.
I met back up with Panther, and he said that the best strategy was for one of us to lure them away from their base, so the other one could look for the flags (and ultimately, soak them). I volunteered to be the bait since I had the heaviest weaponry, but Eric insisted that I should find the flags.
Since Panther is (supposedly) a better tactician than I am, I went with it. I made my way to the enemy base encountering no resistance. I guessed Panther was doing his job. I looked around the apartment building, but I couldn't find the flags. I heard someone coming, and I quickly hid behind a corner. It was Panther. I ran over to him, and he said that everything went according to plan, except they were in our base, waiting for us to return.
I quickly came up with a solution to re-capture our base. We would use the same plan we had just used to get into the enemy base, and use it to take back our base. We split up and took different routes. I went down the middle of the block, and Panther went up the sidewalk. I got to the bottom of my driveway, when Cobra spotted me. I ran at him and shot him pretty good with my 2100. He got me a little bit, then I ran up the driveway to the sidewalk, and Panther was there.
I told him Cobra was right behind me. We both shot him as he came around the bushes. He ran back to my backyard yelling that he had already soaked one of our flags. Then Dread popped out from behind us, and nailed me in the back of the head with an icy torrent of water from his Arctic Blast. I quickly recovered, and got a nice chest shot before Panther and I ran to the apartment building with the enemy in pursuit. Panther ran down the hill to the back of the apartments, and I kept going straight.
I turned around and saw Dread going after Panther, and Cobra was less than 30 feet away from me. We both shot at each other for a bit, then I made a kamikaze attack and he ran away. I went down to the back of the apartments and saw Panther engaged in a one-on-one firefight with Dread. Panther was getting drenched, but he was standing his ground, and firing right back. I shot at Dread, and that distracted him long enough for me to yell, "Eric check the flags!"
He obeyed, then I turned my attention back to Dread. He was already halfway up the hill. I ran for my dryness, and ran down the side walk to our base. Panther said he checked the flags, and mine was soaked. But they didn't find the other one yet. I decided that we couldn't afford to make anymore attacks on a whim. We stood at both entrances to my yard, and we waited. After 2 minutes, Panther saw them coming down the sidewalk from his post in the front yard.
We crouched behind the bushes, and waited until we could read the copyright info on the sides of their guns before we struck. Their screams were long and loud. They ran to the side yard, and Eric went around my house to surround them. I kept them under heavy surpressive fire for about 15 seconds, then my gun sputtered, and I knew I was on empty.
Eric popped out and engaged the enemy, while I called a timeout for me to refill. I went to the hose, and started to fill the Bandit, and the Max-D 5000. Halfway through filling though, Cobra snuck up behind me and let out a blast from his Sneak Attack. I immediately turned around and saw Dread running off. I automatically assumed that he had shot me. I stopped the game and told Dread he was out of the game for shooting a person while they were refilling.
Dread insisted that he did not do it. Cobra was the one who shot me. I've known Dread long enough that I know he doesn't lie. I asked him where Cobra ran off to. Dread said that when he saw Cobra shoot me, he was chasing after him to deal out justice in the form of an icy torrent of water. I decided on the spot that Dread deserved a Commendation medal for his undying honesty, and sense of honor. We all fanned out to search for Cobra. We found him back at the Black Hawk base, drenched him, and ejected him from the game for his dishonorable and cowardly actions.
He got pissed, and said my rules were stupid, but I pointed out that his own teammate agreed with us. Since Dread was tired out (and so were we), he offered a truce. Panther and I accepted. It turned out that both Cobra's flag, and Dread's flag were in locations not allowed in the game. Dread's was almost okay, because it was visible, but it wasn't easily accessable (it was on a tree branch). Cobra's was inside a bush.

The Apartment Massacre
Since the temperature was 90+ degrees most of that week, I got together with Dread and Cobra for a battle. I also tried to get Marauder in, but she said that it was too hot out. I said, "THAT'S THE REASON WE WANT TO HAVE A SUPER SOAKER BATTLE YOU MORON!"
Armaments:
Myself: CPS 2100 "Bandit" with my trusty Helix as backup.
Dreadnaught: Arctic Blast "Tundra Fury"
Cobra: Hose and Max-D 6000
Game Type: 3-way free for all.
ROUND ONE
I started out on my front porch. Dread started out on the back. Cobra wasn't an actual soldier, he was more of an automated turret. I went down the driveway, and ran into Dread instantly. I fired my gun; he fired his. I dodged his shots for a while, then took off to the other side of my house.
He ran after me. I went down the hill in my backyard, and laid down on the hill. Cobra spotted me, and shot me with the hose. I immediately moved out of his range. Kent came down towards the hill, and I got him good with a blast to the chest.
He returned fire, but charged at him yelling. He ran back to the sidewalk. There was a quick firefight, but I got the upper hand and soon Dread was drenched.
ROUND TWO
We started where we were the first round. This time however, I didn't go down the driveway. Instead I went down the other side of my house. I hid behind a corner, and waited. About 30 seconds later, Dread came up the hill. I waited until he was about 15 feet away from me, then I jumped out, and blasted him in the chest.
He recovered quickly, and released the riot blast. He got me pretty good. I ran up to the sidewalk with Dread in hot pursuit. I turned around and shot him a couple times, but then he said he needed a refill. I did too, so we went to the hose. Cobra popped out and started firing at us. Dread held him off, and I went for the hose.
Right before I reached it, Cobra ran up behind me and nailed me. I told him to stop while I was refilling. I refilled my gun, then ran off to the front yard. About 2 minutes later, Dread ran up and started firing. I shot at him, but he had a clever defense.
He held his Arctic Blast up to his face and peeked through the trigger area. Then Cobra ran up the driveway and started shooting at Dread. I nailed him in the back of the head, and he shot back at me instead. He yelled for Dread to help him.
Dread ran up, and held the riot blast to Cobra's head.
I watched as my brother's brains were drenched. Then I had an idea. I fired at Cobra, then at Dread. My intent was to lure them to Dread's apartment building, then go the back way to my house, and get the hose. I started running. I made it to the apartments, then I turned around and shot back at Dread and Cobra.
Cobra ran parallel to me, then I stopped, and shot at him. Dread chose this moment to attack, and released another riot blast. I was unable to avoid this one, and most of the water ended up on me. I shot him in the head, and he retreated.
I was confident that I could force him back enough so that my plan would still work. Then... it happened.
Cobra shot me in the back of the head. I chased after him, and as I did, he turned around and shot at me. I got hit in the face. I wiped the water out of my eyes, then returned fire. After about 5 seconds, he started smiling. I turned around already knowing what I would see.
Dreadnaught was standing there with his hand on the riot blast trigger. I said, "Oh f***", then the water pounded into my back. I fell to the ground in agony. Dread then took Cobra's Max-D 6000, and emptied both guns over my head. I surrendered immediately.
Winners: Dreadnaught and Cobra
Loser: Me
Medals Awarded: Bronze Star (Dreadnaught) For superior tactical planning and sustained combat performance.
Bronze Star (Viperfox) For sustained combat performance in the face of defeat.
