I was looking for new soakers at my local Canadian Tire yesterday. I only saw the new Artic blast but I'm not interested in it since I already have a FF (FF+ ice cubes = artic blast(or maybe better). But they still have a bunch of soaker tag max-D 2000 and XP 270 twin packs(which I think are both 2-3 year old) so I was wondering if any of these air pressure blasters would be worth buying and if so, which pack would be the best choice.

Go for the MD2000. Cheper, better range, and I think better output.

Honestly, I'd say skip both. Save up and get something like an Orca, Tigershark, or Pirahna. All are far better.

Both are weak, I'd get the 2000s though, because when are you ever going to use two 270s? Never, I knoe, I've got three. :goofy: The 2000s can atleast be used when you run out of water in your main gun, just reach into your pocket and use them until you get time to refill.

On the subject, what's more worth it, an aquashock secret strike, or an MD3K 2 pack?
Unless someone that has tried it strongly advises against it, I think I'll get the SS.
From what I saw through the box, it has a ~5x, ~3x, ~1-2x, fan blast, and the hidden SS nozzle (~2x).

The MD3000 is actually pretty good. 35+feet range for that little baby. But the Max-D trigger means it will break and become useless VERY fast. I returned 5 different MD-3000 2-packs to Target before I finally gave up. I really liked the MD3000, while it lasted, though. I could sprint as fast as I could with the little thing, and the 2x stream actually worked pretty well. Good lamination.

Finally, I skipped both and bought a hydroblitz. Omg, this thing is so huge, I couldn't believe how big it was when I saw it on the shelves! I'll post my impressions with some pics tomorrow.

The first one with a hydroblitz! You must have been one brave sonuva to spend so much on that...then again, we don't know too much about it! (except it holds LESS than the much smaller orca [about 9-10oz] Which of course means wasted space.)

Hmm...I was sure somebody had one. Might have been Evangel (?).

The Orca is a fairly large gun. Just not as boxy and probably not as heavy. The beauty of it is the balance and the ergonomics - it doesn't feel heavy at all.
