Since there's sooo much to say about a gun like this, I'm pleased to make this Benchmark a little bit longer than the norm... First, I'd like to discuss some concerns I have over the Nozzles on the Monster X. The box of mine - a 2000 Series Monster, denoted the Nozzles as 8.5x/10x/11.5x. The Gun was labeled this way as well. However, upon closer inspection of the nozzle diameters (you can tell just by looking), the 10x nozzle was verified as a basic 5x Nozzle. It appears that, possibly many Monster/MonsterX models are labeled incorrectly. (Also please note that there is no difference between the 2000 Monster and the Monster X, except for the name change.)
Anyway, the Nozzles are as
Follows.
First, a run down of the specialty nozzles...

Another detail worth noting is that the holes on this nozzle are squared instead of rounded like on the MonsterXL. |

Nozzle formation on this sucker is also worth mentioning. They're organized the same way as the left side barrel of the Monster XL.

One thing about all these nozzles is that they're all powerful, and that they all use up most of your Pressure tank supply... Thank god she takes less pumps than a CPS1200 in the form of one of the smoooothest Tracked pumps I've ever seen... I love the Pump on this thing!

Talk.
A few things I have to say
About the Monster X and the Monster Fast Filler... She comes with the standard
Monster Charger, but because of how the front of the Monster X is built
and the way the Charger is built, you must be careful of how you stick
the gun into the charger. The Lever on the charger that controls the 2
way filling, points straight up - into the Nozzles. As such, don't jam
the gun into the charger or you could risk braking the Charger or the Monster
X's Nozzles... Along with this, you can't rotate the Monster X 360 degrees
while charging.
Another neat thing I noticed is when the gun finishes filling the reservoir, the reservoir cap shoots out a 5-10ft blast to say it's done... Kinda funny because I accidentally defended myself in battle with this once... Heard somebody coming just as it finished filling, spun around and caught the guy in the overflow, I didn't even know it finished because it was shooting behind my back... :)
Anyway, down to the Raw Info.

Weapon Class: CPS-SC/Large Cannon

Performance Overview.
Outstanding output capabilities,
along with Decent range... While the Monster X outputs are what I'd call
"phenomenal", the range is unlike what a blaster with these outputs should
have. This is not to say that the Monster X has bad range, it is good for
a blaster its size, but for a gun with outputs higher than that of the
CPS 2500, and have less range, just strikes me as odd - and is something
worth noting.
Aside from this, the gun
performs very well. This is one of the quickest and easiest pumping guns
I've seen, and the SuperCharging ability only makes it easier. However,
while the Pressure tank fills smoothly and quickly at the charger stand,
it seems to rarely fill the reservoir up all the way - if at all.
Structural Overview.
It looks big, and it is...
Built like a rock, this gun can take a relatively viscous beating and still
come home in one piece. It does feel a little more pieced together than
the Monster XL, but I'd still call it Rock solid. While the Nozzles feel
fairly tricky to change, it is easy to get stuck between nozzles, and it
is difficult to determine which nozzle is currently selected. (Tip: Use
a Strip of duct tape and wrap it around the nozzles, then label each nozzle
of the gun with a marker. Now nozzle settings can be determined without
looking at the barrel of the gun.)
Other than that, the pumping
is easy, quick and the Tracked pump glides relatively smoothly. The Pump
is easy to grip as well...
When full, the Monster X
is extremely backheavy due to the entire length of the reservoir being
behind the handle. The structure is relatively wide and bulky due to Monster
Series styling, and can be a major con to those considering buying the
Monster X as a main weapon.
Basic Overview.
I like this gun, but it
can often feel to big to the person holding it. But aside from it's size,
the gun performs extremely well and is built ruff'n'tuff to take whatever
anyone can dish out on it. Perhaps the best thing I like on this gun is
how long it takes a gun like this to pump up - needing only 18 pumps when
the usual gun this size takes closer to 30. Anyway, if you're looking for
a big gun to carry to a big water fight, this gun is perfect. A Great main
weapon.
After all, sometimes a bigbigbig
gun is what crazy people want most! This gun certainly is a Monster...
