This is defintely a day or mourning, terror, and sorrow for those lost - and deep, deep anger for those responisble. The "Pearl Harbour" of Terrorism, left 266 people on the planes dead, and the bodies have yet to be counted on the World Trade Center, which employs upwards of 50,000 US Citizens, and the Pentagon. 265 Firefighters and 88 Police Officers are also presumed dead in the Trade Center Collapse. Many international leaders have expressed condolences and support for the US, among them, Canada, Britain, France, Germany, Russia, China, India, and several other nations across the globe... All with one phrase, this is an unimaginable tragedy, a worst nightmare, a very dark day in the history of the world.
But America and it's allies stand tall... as terror rang out in New York today there was no major panic, no rioting... The pride of the free world is undamaged even though two of the most famous buildings ever lie in ruin. As President George W. Bush quoted from the Bible in his speech this evening: "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil for you are with me."
America will survive.
God bless to everyone involved... Our hearts - worldwide, are with you.
