Just making an update, hopefully not the last of the year, but just poking the Nexus's head above the waves and saying "I'm alive, don't worry, I'm not drowning..."

Now, while there isn't much to report elsewhere, there are some Nexus related items to report.

New Newswire Archive System
The Nexus Newswire archive system for a long time has been designed so that the last months news could be viewed by going to the bottom of the page. (Next months news at the top, etc...) Now while this makes for quick access to the previous month, it makes it a pain in the rear to sift through the 24 current pages on the Nexus Newswire to find past information, historic events, etc...
So for the ease of the surfer, surfing his/her merry way across the Nexus, a Newswire Archive has been constructed, and a link has been placed in the traditional positions on each and every page of the archived Newswires. A link to which can be found below, at the bottom of this page... Hopefully this will make it easier for the diehard fans. :)

New Tips 'n' Tactics section
Long overdue and still not completed, the new TnT section features 4 new articles for reading, as well as a list of coming subjects - as soon as I can remember to do them. More to read, nonetheless.

And now for News from the Soaker World
Guts'n'Glory Water Warfare is hosting the sequel to Junes big battle, the Dominator War II. For more Coverage, visit the New AquaFire!
Aquatica Club's recent spamming events are currently resolved - how resolved they are, remains to be seen.
Former Flash Flood operator has joined Aquatica Club, and is discussing plans to reopen the historic page.

And while not a Soaker Topic, it is neat to mention, today, August 12th 2001, marks the 20th anniversary of something that made a difference to how we view Soakers online. On August 12th, 1981, International Business Machines (IBM) released the IBM PC product line to the world, making it largely possible to bring the Computer home. It's come a long way since then, but most of us visiting now are probably using a PC Compatable system, one created in the image of what came today 20 years ago. I am. :)
