Anyway, to the News...
More Dominator War Footage!
6
More photos from the Dominator War have been added to the Gallery section!
Simply incredible photos of these hardcore Water Militants... (including
one of their massive pile of guns they made while on lunch break). You
Gotta see it!
Also: please note, that due to a shortage of webspace, photos from the Dominator War have been moved to the Nexus's Tripod server, in effort to keep this site running smoothly and for the most part, bannerless... (However, with tests, Tripod banners don't seem to pop up when they open in a sub-frame... curious...) (I'd also like to thank Dominion of MiB for offering webspace to this endeavour)
Anyway, seems to be it for now... More later!
Dominator War hits the
Nexus.
As posted in the 6/01/2001
issue of the Newswire, Guts'n'Glory's
Dominator War's host site, AquaFire has been temporarily shut down(as announced
in yesterdays newswire). Until it can be reactivated, Aqua-Nexus is proud
to host the Dominator War for the Online Community.
One thing, Dominator War's
legacy is sure to become truly massive. It's Massive right now! An
amazing 18 part Saga of the entire
war in the War Stories Section, and 9
photos of the True Water Warriors involved...
As such, a Special Coverage Bar has been added to the Main Page of the Aqua-Nexus to commemorate the two big Wars that have landed on the Nex over the last few days. The Dominator War of Northern Virginia, and Vermin War III of North Carolina.
Also, I'd like to Thank Guts'n'Glory's Commander Dave (xneverfacedefeatx on Aquatica) for dedicating his site to me (SuperSoakerWarrior) for the week of June 11th to June 18th. I'm glad I could be an inspiration to you, and I hope that I can continue to be so for a good while yet. Aqua-Nexus is and Always will be dedicated to those who treat Soakers as an artform, as a sport, and most of all, understand the true spirit of friendship of the game. And most of all, to those who TAKE NO PRISONERS!!.
And before it gets lost in all the commotion, Swamp Rat tells us a little story about an Ambush him a few friends planned. See the War Stories Section for More...

Aquatica down to 1 Founder.
Early this morning, Aquatechnology
AKA Bob G. of iSoaker.com, stepped down from Foundership duties, stating
that he did not feel compitent enough to continue as such. Control of the
Aquatica Organization is now in the hands of just SuperSoakerWarrior AKA
Nick L of the Aqua-Nexus, and will remain so until a replacement Founder
for Aquatechnology is found. The final descision is not expected to be
made until, possibly, the fall, as it is difficult to replace such a great
founder, one who helped Co-Found the Aquatica Organization on September
23rd, 1999. Aquatechnology will continue as a member of the Aquatica club
and webring, as iSoaker_com.
This is indeed a Sad
day, As a tribute, please fill up your largest gun and fire off a shot
in his honor. For all that he's done for SuperSoaking online, it's the
least we could do...
Aquafire is down.
Due to an error on it's
Homestead server, which is beginning to charge for its services, Aquafire
as been taken down until a new Server can be found to host it. It is unknown
at this time if it will be back, but to it, Aqua-Nexus would like to wish
them well, and that they find their way back online soon.
If you're outside shooting
off a shot for Aquatechnology, please shoot one off for Aquafire as well...

War Story/Match-Maker
Submission Form Disfunctionallity
Ok, I just discovered this
problem, and I apologize deeply for all those that took the time to write
up a neat War Story or Match-Maker Ad for the Nex, Clicked Submit, only
to find out that the @#$%##% Submission service shut down for upgrading
in Early April - WITHOUT TELLING ME...
*ahem*
Anyway, they say that their
Submission form system will be operational once again by June 8th. Until
then, I'll be uploading the Submission form for the War Story section from
Mid-2000 before Bytecenter.com was used for submission form CGI, OR, send
the War Stories to Ronlowe@nbnet.nb.ca.
Match-Maker ad's can also just be sent in to me at Ronlowe@nbnet.nb.ca
(checked everyday). (Before submitting, check the Submissions
Page on the Interactive section for guidelines.)
