WSLer TKD-SuperStar (2nd in Command - CWSL Premier Branch) received a CPS 1500 yesterday. He is to be considered armed and dangerous, as well as a great threat to yours truly.

Reformatting the Nexus Newswire. Don't worry, no major changes, just adjusting the post layout. All messages for May 1999 have been placed on a separate page, available on a link at the bottom of this page, or click here...
The AquaNexus is proud to announce yet another expansion of horizons. Soon, a War Story section will be built, and a Buyers guide will be posted. All in a new Section yet to be constructed called, the "Information Station". (Information station will replace the CWSL History Button, for that will be put on the station too). The Newswire button will remain on the main page menu, but will be made available on the new section as well.

Reviews of 2 Star Wars Pistols have been posted, Naboo Guard Pistol, and Battle Droid Rifle.Unfortunately they weren't all too much to look at, but the Naboo Pistol may serve its use as a good Sidearm Pistol. Queen Amidala's Pistol was unavailable for review. (ToyzRus didn't have it). All and all, These will make good guns for Star Wars and Super Soaker collectors alike.

Also, simple reviews of the Supercharger line have been posted.

A detailed benchmark for the XP 150 has been posted, as I have borrowed one this weekend. I also soon hope to do a benchmark for an XP 95, but It'll be a few weeks....
As of 6/17/99 The Nexus Counter has gone over 1000. We here at the CWSL are happy to be of service to you.

Several Things have been added... Detailed Benchmarks of the CS MDS, 1999 CS 30, and New Improved 100 Have been posted. I'm happy to note that CS100's look alike is much different than the original. I would think that anyone who thinks the new classics are the same as the old ones, certainly hasn't used a new one. Also, a rather funny parody banner has been added to the intro page. The Banner makes fun of Cyberthrill Casino's banner in a Water War kind of way.

Remember the Super Shooter CPS2000? (Nexus NewsWire - 5/11/99 and 5/26/99). The Pictures have finally been developed and scanned. They can be found on the Super Soaker Reviews and Stats page on the CPS1000 page. or just click here...   Also other pictures have been posted, The New Improved 100, a MDS, a New 30, and a Classic 200.

Today marks the 6th year anniversary of the the World Soaker League... On June 12th, 1993, My Friends team "The Waterbombers" beat out my team "The Super Soaker Warriors" (notice the name) in the first championship battle, to christen the WSL. This league, it's members and this webpage have given me something to do over the course of the 6 years. Unfortunately, even though there haven't been many battles as of yet, this is the furthest the league has ever gotten. 1994 was close, the member list was all the way up to 10, but there was only one fight. 6 years is a long way, but not very long as I see it, as most time was spent with no one around.

A slow week here at the Nexus... The Reservoir has been updated at Supersoaker.com this week to take a closer look at the XP90, even though there isn't really much to look at. The pulsating nozzle is a neat little gimmick, but I'd rather have an XP110. Also this week I have added a message board to the AquaNexus, so if you have a question that's bugging you... Don't be afraid to ask.

Also, I will soon be adding a war stories page to the AquaNexus, so if you have a neat story to tell, have it heard here. Please send your story(s) to... either my AquaNexus War stories address, or my AquaNexus Site Address.

Together we can make this great site even better :)

I figured out why the Super Shooter CPS2000 was so cheap... It is... The Pump broke off today, and it has to be taken back to the store (the funds will be put towards a real CPS1000) . Luckily enough, photos of it had already been taken and developed. As soon as they are scanned they will be posted. Photos also taken and developed are the Purple/Yellow Classic 30, a Classic MDS, the New Improved Classic 100 (Orange and Green and not just an ordinary 100!), a Classic 200, and the CPS1500 Mk4.

The CPS1500 I found does not fit under any description of the gun found in the Soaked Newsletter #10 (See Nexus Newswire - 5/30/99). Therefore it can only be classified as CPS1500 Mk4. It can be Identified as the 1500 with the stickers on the reverse side, and the Orange pump shaft cap does screw off. Performance wise, is shoots 4ft further, holds 2 oz less in the Pressure tank (doesn't hurt timing though), and has an Air valve that does not allow for just air to be pumped into the firing chamber, as well as prevent overpumping by forcing water back into the tank when fully charged.. This gun is what the CPS 1500 should have been.
