Operation Waterstorm - by Viper

August 15, 2002- a day (well, night) that'll go down in
history. Me and my friends and almost my whole neighborhood decided to have a HUGE water fight. We planned to have it on the night of the fifteenth once it started getting dark. My team was me and 11 of my friends against 14 of my other neighbors and friends. We had it in the combined space of my backyard and my nextdoor neighbors. Me and my friends set up our fort in my front yard, where there was about 20 feet of open space around every side of the fort. Our fort as a tent surrounded by a wall of picnic tables and lounge chairs on their sides. We had two guards with monster XL's (which my friends had just bought), and 1 other with a cps 2500. I had a laser pointer, and 6 of my friends had them. My yard is surrounded by a perimeter of trees and bushes, so we put all 7 laser pointers in low tree branches pointing towards the base, so that if an enemy was sneaking towards our base they would walk in the laser line and break it, alerting our guards. We knew the only way to avoid the lasers was to crawl on your stomach, so we dug about 30 little holes around our base and put mines of ziploc bags filled with water in them so if they crawled theyd get soaked. We also put a lot of dry twigs and noisy stuff around the ground on our base so anyone sneaking up would break twigs and stuff and alert the guards. We also had a couple big flashlights to shine on people and blind them when we saw them. Then me and the remaining 9 commandos split up into the following:

1 scout armed w/ an xp 220 and a water balloon.
1 sniper armed w/ a splashzooka
1 sniper armed w/ a cps 2000
A main Assault squadron of 4 people, led by me, where I had my modified xp
270 and my modified XP 220, plus a water balloon, and three other people,
one with a water balloon and a cps 1000, one with an XP 270 and a water
balloon and one with an XP 270 and a crappy side pistol thing.
1 heavy artillery man with a Monster X.
1 grenadier with a backpack of water balloons and those splash ball things.

First we all waited at the base while our scout went and scouted the enemy's base. He came back in a couple minutes and told us it was a wall of lounge chairs with a bunch of water balloons and stuff in the middle with 4 guards, all having cps 2500 sized guns and one monster XL. He said security around looked pretty lax. We then sent out the snipers to set up in posts. One hid in a tree on a branch big enough for him to lie down on and the other set up on my roof to look for people trying to sneak around the long way to our fort. Then Me any my squadron and the heavy artillery and the grenadier and the scout went out onto my street and walked silently around the edge of my whole neighborhood to the back of my neighbors house. We then started moving towards the fort when we saw roman candles flying into the air. That was the signal from our fort that they were under attack. Two people from my squadron plus the grenadier went back t help. Me and the heavy artillery guy and the remaining member of my squadron and the scout slowly crept up to the enemys fort. We saw that one of the guards had left, leaving only 3 guards. I quickly devised a plan. I would sneak up near the base and throw a water balloon at the monster XL guy. Then my friends would start randomly shooting at them and throwing rocks at other places in the bushes so theyd think there were more of us. Then we'd keep attacking until the guards called for help, which would draw off enemys that were attacking our base to here. I snuck up to the base and threw the water balloon, which hit the guards side. Then we attacked and carried out our plan. After ten seconds or so the guard with the monster cried out for help. Then the rest of our plan went into motion. We started slowly retreating, randomly firing, so they didnt know we were retreating. Then we'd stop shooting and hide so that the people that had come to help the guards would have think we left and start going back to our base. Once the guards saw their help coming they told them that there were about 10 of us, but we had left. Or so they thought. The squad or 6 guys that had come to help left, and once they got close to us we ambushed them. They immediately surenderd and gave us their weapons, which we took and drenched them with. THen we hightailed it back to our base and spiut the weapons there. Now almost all of our team was at the base and there were 5 guys attacking it. We easily soaked them and then they surrendered byt one guy waving his white shirt on a stick. Then our whole team except the snipers slowly moved towards the enemy base, where we just plain killed the guards. It was the best and most exciting battle I'd ever fought, and our team, The Strokes, haven't lost a  battle since.
