Battle of the Darkness - by Super Soaker Warrior

It all started when TKD-Warrior called me to say that he was coming over, and wanted to squirt Doogie once before Doogie returned to Fredericton (Capital city of New Brunswick, Canada) where he was working as a Paramedic. Over the phone I told TKD that I had just gotten a new gun, he tried to get what one it was out of me, but only got as far as it being a Super Charger. Later he came over, I greeted him by a demonstration of the SC 400 (I didn't shoot him, it's kinda foolish to shoot a SC 400 at someone pulling a fully loaded CPS 2500 out of their truck.)

He asked me "Where's Doogie?"
I said "he's inside with Blackwolf"
"Get him out"
"Umm why?"
"I wanna shoot him before he goes"
"With that?"
"Yeah!"
"Okay!, let me go get my gun."

We went inside without Doogie and Blackwolf seeing, but they heard us, they knew something was up. I grabbed my XP 95 and my CPS 2500, and tossed my NI-100 to TKD for backup. we went outside, and then called Doogie out...
He refused to come out, so we went around the front to the basement window to where the computer room is (where he was hiding). He opened the window (the one with no screen, heh heh) to say hi, and was greeted by water. Running in to close the window, TKD popped off a few hits to Doogie from his 2500 on 5x, I landed a successful Riot blast shot from my 95 right to his stomach...  TKD was happy, he had done what he came to do. We thought that it would end there. Wrong. It led to the shot heard around the world...
(okay maybe just the house)

A few minutes later, Blackwolf, using a sleeping bag as a shield, was at the screenless window with a fully loaded CPS 1000. TKD and me attacked him, I (with my marksmanship talents) popped a mid-range blast to his face, sending him away from the window. For the next few minutes me and TKD were confused where they were.
Blackwolf then emerged from the basement door (at the opposite end of the house) still with the sleeping bag. Me and TKD fired, making him withdrawal. I laid siege to the basement while TKD refilled, Blackwolf and Doogie came up to me saying they wanted to surrender. I yelled "Where is the 1000? I won't shoot you...". They didn't answer and left, I stayed by the basement door to guard until TKD got back...

All of the sudden from around the house came Doogie with my NI-30 (hey, I was laughing hard too). I gave chase, but he was able to outrun me. Doogie returned inside from the Patio door in back, under fire from TKD.

That was when the scariest part of the fight happened...

Blackwolf, with me distracted, locked the basement door and blocked off all exits inside the house. Not only that, but turned off the outdoor lights... I decided it was a good time to refill, and to my devastating suprise  someone had switched the Hose cutoff valve in the basement. (Featured in the story "Battle of the hose"). Both me and TKD were stranded outside in the dark, high and dry. We had opened the attack... it looked like they were going to finish it.

But then we began to fight back.

Doogie then came out from behind the house and made a charge attack run on me with the 30. We made sure he paid for it. I shot him while he passed, TKD chased him all the way down the street. I walked back into the driveway, and with my nightvision I was able to decern the faint light reflecting off of my basement door disappear. I fired a 10x shot at Blackwolf before he was able to get me. He slammed the door and returned inside. By this time Doogie was on his way back, still with TKD on his tail, I chased after him and he fled into the neighbours yard. Me and TKD returned to my yard and figured out if we could retake the basement.
We decided to go inside though the patio door into the kitchen to refill our blasters, when I saw the key to the front door. I thought "what if I had the basement key?", but then I figured "Hey, I can get to the basement from the inside..."  After heading down into the basement, we stormed each room until the area was secure. But no Doogie or Blackwolf... Nor my SC 400 anywhere to be seen...
After a while of arguing about guarding the basement door, I went into the backroom to reactivate the hose from the cutoff valve. Suddenly, I heard footsteps that weren't TKDs coming from the other direction. and me being in a dark room with a clear shot to the basement hallway, I was in the perfect spot to make an ambush. As Blackwolf rounded the corner I sent a full 3 second 5x blast  to his stomach. Unfortunately for me, the room I was in served just as well as a corner. Blackwolf wasn't able to get a full shot though. Blackwolf retreated, flying past TKD out the basement door. I headed out to the basement door, passing TKD, and coming head on to Doogie with a fully pumped SC 400. Of course to shoot me he had to point down, and SC 400s only shoot air pointed down. I chased after him outside when I was greeted by Blackwolf hiding in the darkness by my Dads 95 Ford Taurus, popping out of where I couldn't see him. The result was 5x at my shirt. And 10x back at him....
I reactivated the light outside, just as a car to basement door standoff broke out between me and Blackwolf. I charged out at him just as Doogie ran by with TKD after him, I joined the chase...  Doogie then dropped the gun to the ground and Surrendered. Blackwolf, in response, quit. We had won, but we don't believe in winners or losers, just fun. So nobody won.

Just as Doogie and Blackwolf were about to leave (Doogie in a car, Blackwolf on his new 24 speed Mountain Bike) TKD opened fire on them. In a defense maneuver, I routed TKD with a few shots to him, but my 2500 went dry. Blackwolf then handed me my 1000, half full. With my 95 and 1000 half full, I was able to draw fire off of the others, and annoy the bejeezus out of TKD once his guns were dry...

Thus ends our story...
