The Battle
of the Hose - by SuperSoakerWarrior
It started
on a sunny day in May when me, Doogie and Flash arrived at my house after
dropping TKD off after a battle held earlyer. I stayed behind to clean
something of the rear window of Doogies car (never spit into the wind out
of a car window...), Doogie stayed outside watching me, while Flash played
on an error I had made. I left the hose plugged into the tap on the side
of the house in front of the driveway, Flash turned it on and proceeded
to attack Doogie while I was safe inside the car. Flash is infamous of
using this supply only meant for refilling as an inexaustable watergun
(I had to challenge a hose with an MDS last year because of him). I would
have to get into the basement of my own home and turn the hose off by the
cutoff valve, if I could ever plan to get out of the car dry and stay that
way. Flash was occuping his attention on trying to nail Doogie hiding behind
a bush, so I jumped out of the car from the door on the opposite side of
the car and dashed up the side of the house, around back, and in through
the patio door. Flash saw me leaving the car and gave chase, hiting me
with a weak shot as I rounded the back corner of the house. I was inside
the house, but I was not in the basement... I ran into the guestroom where
my NI-CS100 was hidden, and filled it up at the kitchen sink... Flash was
still outside attacking Doogie with his unfair and illegal advantage. I
ran downstairs to the basement, towards the door by the hose, in behind
a wall and turned the hose off by the cutoff tap. Flash had realized what
I was doing and attempted to fire up and over the wall towards the cutoff
switch, but it was too late, I had already cut him off... I charged out
to meet him coming in with a pumped 100 and drove him out. He ran outside
and back in through the front door, down to the cutoff valve to reacivate
the hose. However, I was outside dismantling the hose from the house. I
ran over to the other side of my yard and threw the hose into the woods,
and ran back into my basement to my room and hid the hose's nozzle under
my bed. Flash was finally defeated... Doogie had survived the attack with
minor wetness, and as such I chose not to nail Flash for his war crimes.
I emptyed the 100 and hid it in my basement in the area by the cutoff point,
as to make sure Flash would not get ahold of the gun, and maintain the
peace that had thankfully bloomed.
