The Fuzz Factor!
Hey, This is the Fuzz here.
These are my collection of reviews done for the Aqua-Nexus. There are 5
parts to my review. The first is the pros and cons of the gun. The second
is the good (or bad) uses for the gun in battles. The third is the Fuzz
Factor (which is the deciding point of a good or bad gun). Fourth
is what the gun is recommended for and the last is the rating I have given
the gun. All of the reviews are one paragraph long and each can be
reached by the links below. You can also access them by the gun’s main
review page by clicking on the Fuzz Factor link and it will take you to
that review. Keep your eyes peeled on the Nexus
Newswire for updates or additional reviews. If you have any suggestions
or comments, please contact me at fuzz_guy@hotmail.com.
~RUN! IT’S THE FUZZ!~
Triple Play
Like it cousin, the Triple
Charger, the Triple Play has 3 interchangeable tanks that can hook on to
your belt but this gun isn't as big. The specs I like about this gun that
it is easy to use, easy to carry and easy to pump. The 3 super charge tanks
are easy to fill using the QFD (to fill the tanks, which takes longer,
you must remove the tank from the grenade looking plug, and full up each
un-pressurized tank). The gun is very light to run with and is good to
move around in close quarters. It details I don't like about this gun are
that it only has one good shot PER TANK and after that one shot, the pump
is generally useless. Although you shouldn't fight a CPS or a larger XP
with it, it's an excellent side arm to fight back to the base with to re-fill
your mail weapon. I recommend this gun to anybody that can't carry a large
gun as a side arm or a smaller individual.
FACTOR: Small gun, low
shot time, great speed and power
RECOMMEND: Buy as a sidearm
RATING: 4.0/5.0
CPS 3200
So you want to be a human
tank, huh? Well this is the gun for you. It's huge and it packs a punch.
Other pros include having plenty of water and the ability to hold another
med. to large gun if needed. The actual gun part is very light to carry
and gives you the opportunity to hold another gun. Although you wouldn't
be able to pump either of them due to lack of another hand but the other
team would be to scared of you for you to have fired a shot at them (which
means, you don't have to pump it back up). It's very good to run with as
the shoulders and not the arms, support all the weight. This gun has as
many Cons as it does Pros which include being heavy on the back when fully
loaded, limited range when on it's biggest setting, hard to pump back up
and after being fully recharged a few times, the backpack collapse. A good
tip to fix the collapse is to unscrew one of the top caps just a little
the let the air in. The strap to this gun is kind of useless but can be
taken off, and with the gun I tested, the supercharge option didn't seem
to work very well. There are a few good applications to this gun. One of
witch is being able to defend a base fairly well and to defend any prisoners
you might have. This gun can get someone very wet very fast and it can
be used to blackmail someone (ex: Do this or get wet) and you have the
water to back it up. I DO NOT recommend this gun for regular battle field
use as it's very hard to lug around for a high pace game.
FACTOR: Way too big for
NORMAL use.
RECOMMEND: For hardcore
SS fans only.
RATING: 3.0/5.0
CPS 1200
Did you want a battle-testing
gun? This gun is for you. This is a very good gun to use on the regular
battlefield. This weapon excels in shot time and distance, ease of pumping
and very good pressure. A great feature of this gun is it only takes a
few pumps to make this gun shoot a good distance with excellent pressure.
The few cons to this gun would include having only one size to shoot from
and the other minor issue would be the strap provided is too small (for
a grown adult that is). This med. to heavy gun only has a med. size tank
on it so it will lose a prolonged battle with another heavy gun. As this
gun has only one size nozzle, it won't soak someone from head to toe but
you can do some heavy damage. I wouldn't attack a base by myself with alone...
maybe other 1200's but not alone. I would take this gun for anything general,
soaking people at the beach, in the yard, in the woods or even in a battle.
You can run with it, have great accuracy and distance while severe pissing
off someone form behind.
FACTOR: Great gun for
getting someone wet.
RECOMMEND: Buy if your
just starting.
RATING: 4.5/5.0
CPS 1500/1700
Do you want to put the money
where your mouth is? This gun is for you. It’s big enough to hose someone
down with and run away before they know what hit them. Other good items
about this gun are the handle is very easy to pump and the 10x nozzle is
big enough to blow away some small animals. The strap is an added feature,
as it will help you carry around this semi large gun. I have a hard time
holding this gun whether it be awkward or clumsy so it might not be a good
gun for younger warriors. Other features that I don't like about it are
that it doesn’t have a good shot time and the pump is very flimsy. Now,
every gun has a use and this one would be for the more experienced warriors
that like to totally soak their opponents in one shot. I would recommend
after that one shot, to run and hide because pumping this gun back up while
running may cause the pump to break, and no one wants to be defenseless
and have a broken gun. In a large battlefield operation, it would be a
good idea to shoot from its largest setting, fall back to pump back up,
and repeat (If you have two people, alternate. While the first is shooting,
the other one pumps and vice versa).
FACTOR: Big gun, big
shot, bad pump.
RECOMMEND: Buy it for
fun.
RATING: 2.5/5.0
XP 270
CPS’s too big for you? Want
something somewhat comparable? Try the XP270. It might not have the big
splash effect, but it has some kick to it. This XP does not lack the qualities
of a good shot range, shot power and it’s very easy to move around with.
These qualities are very excellent for a smaller warrior to use on the
battlefield or for a larger warrior to annoy friends with. While the XP
line has a flaw in it’s designs of having no QFD, this gun also has a bad
handle, and a low shot time. Now, if the gun had a bigger sized nozzle,
it might be more effective but if it did, it wouldn’t be and XP now would
it? Other important information about this gun would be the ability to
shoot continuously (by pumping while shooting) and it’s Med range. I think
this gun is better suited for the smaller warrior rather then the bigger
one. It’s to big to be used as a side arm for a larger person. A larger
person could take it and easily hide it in a backpack when on a trip or
camping. It’s just enough to annoy your dad… (But not recommended)
FACTOR: Good average
gun, not a difference maker
RECOMMEND: A must buy
for the younger SS warrior.
RATING: 3.5/5.0
XP 215
Don’t you hate a stupid
mosquito? Me too and this gun is just like that. This gun has one two good
features like it’s portability and ease to carry/hide. I can see how you
could pull it out of you pocket (if it doesn’t leak) and shoot and run.
It is very easy to shoot someone inside a house without making a big mess.
Now for the many down falls. It can’t fight… at all. You can’t use it as
a side arm cause it doesn’t have a soaking ability at all. The range is
ok but the shot, overshadows it way too much. I find this gun had to fill
as the hole is very small and the best way to fill it is at the kitchen
sink. I also think the pump is to small and may cause a larger person to
break it trying to pump it up to fast. What I would use it for? Nothing
but indoor annoying (school comes to mind, but make sure it’s the last
day so you probably won’t get in to much trouble). The battlefield is no
place for this gun, like a baby has no place in the middle of the road.
FACTOR: Bad gun for anything
but annoying
RECOMMEND: Hey, I need
something for school mom.
RATING: 1.5/5.0
XP 220
It’s not a mosquito (see
XP 215) but it’s not much bigger. I would call it a good small bird. This
gun has the same properties as the 215 just with a longer shot time, easier
to full (bigger hole to deal with) and a more awkward shot. This shot is
very strange as in you almost have to aim for the ground to hit you target.
Also good for annoying people but not good for shoot and runs as you have
to shoot then find your target. The handle is easier to shoot as it is
bigger for a bigger person to hold but it’s harder to conceal. Bigger pump
as well so it’s good range of motion for the hand (not the tiny one of
the 215). Not yet ready for the battlefield, this gun is also good for
a hit and run attack, that is of course if you know how to aim it properly
the first time. You can use the upwards shot to your advantage as a surprise
face shot… aim for the body and hit a face! Or hide under something and
shoot straight for a crotch shot. Close to a triple play gun but not ready
as a side arm.
FACTOR: Bad gun for anything
but annoying for a longer day
RECOMMEND: Something
to chase a little brother/sister around with
RATING: 2.0/5.0
XP 310
Wow, where did this great
XP come from? With all the underpowered XP’s out there, this is a good
ray of sunshine. This gun has the best shot range and time for all the
XP’s out there. You can pump and shoot at the same time with keeping the
pressure tank full (recommend!). The tank on this gun is very good as it
being the largest XP out there. You can carry this gun very easily as it
is small enough to use without a strap. This gun has multiple settings…
which is very good for a XP but may be unnecessary and the largest size
is just 2.0X. But with every gun, as it being more likely on the XP line,
it has it’s downfalls. The color is yellow orange and light green… YELLOW
AND ORANGE! Try hiding in a green forest with a yellow and orange gun.
You will be found in 30 sec flat! The pump handle is very awkward to pump
(due to it’s design) but very stable. It wouldn’t hurt with a Quick Fill
Device (QFD). I would find this a great gun for a smaller SS fan that would
like to get in the thick of things on the battlefield… but go easy on him/her,
he/she is a small person with a big gun that he/she probably doesn’t know
how to use to the best of their abilities but if it is a larger person,
watch out! They might take you out with hit and runs while you may have
a bigger weapon that will slow you down.
FACTOR: Great size, range,
shot time but the nozzle…
RECOMMEND: In battle
or in a backpack on the beach!
RATING: 3.5/5.0
CPS SplashZooka 65oz
Blast that lasts huh? One
sec, I’ll get my splashzooka. Wow, this gun can go forever. I had the “pleasure”
to stand and take a shot from it and it is very formidable in a battle.
I stood there for most of the 33 seconds it takes for a full shot, until
I got very annoyed at the shooters position and left. The Quick Fill Device
(QDF) fills somewhat fast, compared to a monster. It has a good shot on
it and some distance as well as no pump, which is very easy and convenient,
but it does have some major setbacks to it. You NEED a QFD for it to work.
Without one, just lie there and take it! It is very back heavy when fully
pressured and may be improved upon if a strap was part of it (witch would
make it a large, but possible, sidearm). Maybe different nozzle settings
would be nice but then it would make a very simple thing, complicated and
who need that in battle? I would use this gun along side another, different
(pump action) gun to defend a base (near a QDF might I add) or guard prisoners
(maybe a 3200???) No pumping means you can have one… or two! Please sir,
can I have another?!?
FACTOR: Big gun, good
shot, no pump :(
RECOMMEND: Base defense
RATING: 4.0/5.0
Monster
It’s like a poisonous baby
snake. Looks small but still very deadly. Out of all of the monsters in
the family, I find this one the best. This gun has a great shot coupled
with a tank that can last. The smallest setting is excellent for regular
water battles. Still small enough to carry around but it has the power
of any monster. The other settings on the gun are ok and the largest
setting is just an average shot. The fan burst isn’t the best as well but
can be used to water a garden. The gun fills up rather quickly using the
Quick Fill Device (QFD). Unfortunately the gun’s handle hurts the hand
for long periods of time and as larger guns go, this one is heavy to carry
when full (but how can you soak someone to death without one?). What would
I use it for? What I wouldn’t use it for! It has great range with the power
of a MAC truck… a small MAC truck that is. Main battlefield or just going
to the beach to hit some friends (or enemies). In any case, you will turn
some heads.
FACTOR: Great gun for
the mature SS fan
RECOMMEND: Main gun for
the “bigger kids”
RATING: 4.5/5.0
